This week's update...

I'm soooo in love with this piece. Everytime I do the backstitch of an animal, I just can believe how cute those faces are.
I'm really hoping my friends like this design as much as I do. I haven't shown them the cover of the book or anything. So it will be a surprise... (they don't read my blog either)

It's so hot these days here in Lima. That why I haven't been stitching as much as I normally do, I think I'm really behind on my schedule. Now I'm completely sure I won't have it done in time for the baby's birth day.

Here's a pic of my progress on Rune Gypsy, I haven't worked on her since december. But I had not shared a pic with you all last time I picked her up, so anyway her it is...

I don't know if you remember me writing in this blog about starting an intensive training program. Well two weeks ago I finished the first part of the program and so far I've lost about 9 kg (20 lbs) ....Yeeey

Because of my height and body structure I'm supossed to weigh 53 kg (120 lbs). When the doctor first told me I was like "that's imposible, I had that weight that when I was maybe 12". But now that I'm starting the second part of the programm, I'm totally obsessed in reachimg my ideal weight so I have only 8kg (18 lbs) to go.

Hopefully I'll reach my goal, but even if I don't I will be very happy with myself for trying to live a healthier life.

Your projects are looking fabulous! I'm especially fascinated by Rune Gypsy, very interesting project.

Congrats on losing 20lbs! That is fantastic! I know how much work it takes to lose weight, you should be very proud. :D

Great progress, Carol.

Congrats also on losing that weight. I am probably around the same height as you because I should probably be around the same weight. What did you do to lose?
