The Guardian

First of all, sorry about not being able to visit your blogs lately, I visited them on small breaks at work but this past two weeks have been crazy with little or no time to read blogs. I'll try to catch up this weekend!

Way back, on February, I posted about a Dimensions kit my dad wanted me to stitch for him to hang it on his new apartment...well finally, 6 months later I decided to pick it up and work on it. I started it on March but only stitched on it for one evening then I decided I didn't feel like working on it and put it away. This is my progress after 10 hours.
Well I'm off to start stitching for a Halloween exchange ... Have a nice rest of the weekend.

Beautiful start ! I am also such a slow stitcher when it´s for my own family. ;-)
I started to learn Spanish on last Wednesday. Maybe I understand some day what you write in Spanish too. They say that it´s rather easy to learn Spanish for us Finnish because pronaunciation is rather same. Also I can practise speaking Spanish with my friends who live hear now but are from Venezuela, Peru and Spain.

What can you do Carla? If your Dad has asked you to stitch something for him, well, you just have to.

Considering you've only been at this a short while, it's already looking beautiful. Such detail. It may not be to your taste design wise, but it's going to look fantastic when it's done, and your Dad will LOVE IT!!

Cheers Judy
