SBEBB Christmas Ornament Exchange

I read on the SBEBB forum that Joanie received the package I sent her for the Christmas Ornament Exchange. When I received her name I inmediatelly knew I was going to stitch a Santa since she stated that she likes them. After finishing it I got worried that it might be a little bit too cartoony...I hope she doesn't think so. This is my first round ornament, I thought it would be a lot more difficult to make but nope it wasn't at all.

Hi Carla,

Thank you for dropping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment. It's always so nice to hear from you.

I've been catching up with your blog and I've seen some really beautiful stitching.

I love the LHN exchange that you received from Mindi. What a beautiful design she chose to stitch and I'm amazed that it's stitched over 1. The blues used in this design are gorgeous!! What a treasure.

The two Christmas pieces that you and Carol stitched and which your Mom had framed look fantastic. Roadster Santa looks like it must have been a lot of work, it's so detailed. And the Mirabilia design that Carol stitched is delightful. It's always such a thrill to see our stitching framed at last and hanging somewhere.

Ohh...I love your Christmas sheep. Lol! He's so cute. I like the bright colours that the design is stitched in, especially the sheep's hat and his bright red nose. And the star button looks great.

I'm sure that Joanie is loving her new Santa ornament that you stitched for her. It really looks good, and I love the blue, starry background, and Santa's rosy pink cheeks. I don't think this design looks cartoony at all. It's a wonderful interpretation of Santa's look.

I'm looking forward to seeing what other ornaments you'll be making.

Cheers!!
