This is my progress on Chelsea's Project after the weekend. I think I did pretty well in my first International Hermit & Stitch Weekend :) Managed complete more than 1,000 stitches in a two evening of stitching :)*yay*

Last week was crazy...with Maria Fernanda's birthday, me having the flu and with tons of things to do at work I could only pick up a needle for a couple of hours one evening. This week I decided no matter what I was going make some time to stitch :) I've worked on SK Blue Moon, and this is how it looks so far. I'm kind of anxious to see her face, I'm worried that because it's a "small" HAED (storykeep) a lot of the details on her face will be lost and it won't look right :S

La semana pasada fue un poco loca...el cumple de Maria Fernanda, yo estaba resfriada y además un montón de trabajo en la oficina así que sólo pude bordar por una par de horas una noche. Esta semana decidí que tenía que hacer tiempo sí o sí para bordar un poco :). Bordé en SK Blue Moon, y asi es como se ve actualmente. Estoy un poco ansiosa en ver su cara, como es un HAED "pequeño" me preocupa que se haya perdido mucho detalle de la cara y que al final no quede bien :S

This year I'm taking part on the International Hermit & Stitch Weekend SAL; this weekend is the first one of 2012. I'll work on Chelsea's Gift; I've not worked on it since last month, and I really want to have it done in February.

Este año he decidido participar en el International Hermit & Stitch Weekend SAL, este fin de semana es el primero del año. Mi proyecto a avanzar es Chelsea's Gift; no lo he tocado desde el mes pasado, y realmente quiero tener lista mi página en febrero.

Here's my first report for the WIPocalypse SAL. As I'd mentioned in a previous post, during the first week of 2012 I was going to start a project per day. Well as always things didn't go as planned and I couldn't stitch the first three days; so instead of 7 new WIPs I have 3. I'll start the other 4 that where mentioned in my WIPocalypse list when I finish some of my current WIPs :)

Este es mi primer reporte para el WIPocalypse. Como había mencionado en una entrada anterior, durante la primera semana del 2012 iba a comenzar un nuevo proyecto por día. Bueno, las cosas no se dieron cómo había planeado y no pude bordar nada durante los 3 primeros días del año; así que en vez de 7 nuevos proyectos tengo 3. Comenzaré los otros 4 que fueron mencionados en mi lista para el WIPocalypse cuando haya terminado algunos de los proyectos que tengo en progreso actualmente :)

I'm going to set monthly goals again this year, to see if that helps me with my stitching :) . Here are the ones for January:

1. Start one project per day the first week of January (Sunday - Saturday)

2. Complete at least 3/4 of my page in Chelsea's Project

3. Keep up the HAED SAL (SK Blue Moon)

Este año voy a trazarme metas mensuales otra vez, para ver si eso me ayuda con mis bordados :) . Aqui las de enero:

2011 was a really special year for me, as a became a mother of a beautiful little girl! Stitching wise it hasn't been very productive, I've only had 11 finishes and most of them where ornament size projects. I'm hoping to change that next year, that's why I decided to join Measi's WIPocalypse, this is what she wrote in her blog:

"For many years, a rumor has been around that the world will end in 2012. So really – do you want all of your poor WIP and UFO pieces to be left behind, unfinished? The guilt! The shame! Oh, the horror of all of those innocent little stitchy projects never to be completed!"

In this SAL we can have new start and I've planned to have 7 during the first week of January ;) , adding those to my current WIPs...here is my 2012 WIPocalypse list (in order of priority):

2. Penguin's First Christmas (Brooke's Book)
3. Princess (Bucilla) ~ NEW!

El 2011 fue un año super especial para mi, ya que me convertí en mamá de una pequeña hermosa! Pero en lo que respecta a mis bordados no fue muy productivo; sólo he terminado 11 bordados y la mayoría eran pequeños. Espero cambiar eso el próximo año, por eso decidí unirme a Measi en su WIPocalypse. Como dicen que el 2012 es el fin del mundo, pues es la escusa perfecta para intentar terminar algunos de nuestros proyectos.

En este SAL esta permitido empezar nuevos proyectos y yo he planeado empezar 7, uno por día en la primera semana de enero ;), sumando éstos a mis WIPs actuales ... esta es mi lista para el Wipocalypse (en orden de prioridad):

So far this past few weeks I've had very little time to stitch. Because of this I've only made progress on Chelsea's project, which I'm stitching on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Here is my progress on it for the last two weekends; I've completed all the black stitched and started filling in with colours :) If I keep up this rhythm I'll complete my square in 7 more weeks.

Estas últimas semana he tenido poquísimo tiempo para dedicarle a los bordados. Debido a esto sólo he logrado avanzar un poco el el proyecto para la mamá de Chelsea, al cual estoy dedicando las noches de los sábados y domingos para bordar en él. Aquí les muestro mi progreso de las dos últimas semanas; completé todo lo va con hilo negro y ya he empezado a rellenar con color :) . Si mantengo este ritmo podré completar mi parte en 7 semanas más.

The "Chelsea's Gift" Project

On July 15th, the stitching community lost a sweet young stitcher named Chelsea. After 18 months of a heart and lung transplant, her body rejected the organs and she died at age 26. I remember reading her post on the HAED forum, and altough I didn't know her I was shocked when I read she had died.

Some ladies from a stitching forum decided to organize The Chelsea's Gift Project. We are stitching a piece charted by HAED, the art is by Hannah Lynn and this piece was commissioned to Hannah by Chelsea, you can see that the octopus is holding the heart and lungs. The piece is divided and 20 sections one each of the 20 stitcher that are participating in this project, and then it will be sew together and it will be a gift for Chelsea's mom.

Last week I started my part which is marked in a red square on the picture in the left. Here's my progress after the weekend. I haven't touched it since Sunday as I've been really busy this week but hopefully can make a little bit of progress this weekend :)

El 15 de julio la comunidad de bordadora perdió a una dulce muchacha llamada Chelsea. Luego de 18 meses de un transplante de corazón y pulmones, su cuerpo rechazó los organos transplantados y Chelsea murio a los 26 años. Recuerdo haber leido algunos de sus comentarios en el foro de HAED, y a pesar que no la conocía me sorprendio mucho su repentina muerte.

Unas chicas de un foro de bordados decidieron organizar el Proyecto Chelsea. Estamos bordando un gráfico de HAED basado en el arte de Hannah Lynn, Chelsea pidio a Hannah uq epintara esta pieza para ella, pueden ver que debajo del pulpo estan el corazón y los pulmones. La pieza se ha dividido en 20 secciones una para cad una de las 20 bordadoras que estamos participando en este proyecto, una vez finalizado el bordado se uniran las secciones y se entregara como regalo a la mamá de Chelsea.

La semana pasada comencé mi parte, que esta marcada en un cuadrado rojo en el dibujo de aribal. Este es mi progreso luego del fin de semana. No lo he tocado desde el domingo pues he estado super ocupada toda la semana pero espero este fin de semana poder avanzar un poco :)

Today I'll share with you my progress on Christmas Elf Fairy by Mirabilia. I was hoping to have it done by now, but no such luck. But I'm not complaining a least progress is being made, right? As you can see the dress is almost done; the white parts are done with Whisper thread *ugh* I hated working with it, I had a difficult time making my stitches look nice with it :(

I've also been stitching on SK Rapunzel, I'll show you my progress in my next post when I have a little more done ;)

Feliz martes a tod@s!! Hoy les enseñaré mi avance en Christmas Elf Fairy de Mirabilia. Pensaba que ya lo tendría listo para esta fecha, pero lamentablemente no ha sido así. Pero no me quejo, al menos estoy avanzando poco a poco :P Como pueden ver el vestido esta casi listo; las partes blancas esta bordadas con hilo Whisper que por cierto deteste trabajar con él, no conseguía que mis puntadas se vean bien :(

También he estado avanzando en SK Rapunzel, pero se los muestro en mi próximo post cuando haya bordado un poquito más ;)

This weekend I heard that Carol had received the ornie I made for her for the Words of Christmas exchange.

Carol stitches a lot of Christmas ornies all year long so I wanted to make sure she hadn't stitched the one I picked for her. My choice was Peace Ornament from this year's Christmas Issue fom Just Cross Stitch magazine. When I was almost done, I read the instructions for the stitching and noticed the original was all done with speciality stitches :S ! For a moment I thought of starting over but finally didn't, because I think it still looks beautiful done with cross stitches. For the back I stitched the year and Merry Christmas, one over one.

I really like how it turned out and I'm happy that Carol likes it too! :)

Este fin de semana Carol recibió el adornito que le envié para un intercambio de adornos de Navidad.

Carol a lo largo del año realiza varios adornos de Navidad por lo que quería asegurame que el que le hiciera ella no lo hubiera hecho antes. Mi elección fue Peace Ornament de la edición de Navidad de la revista Just Cross Stitch. Cuando estaba por terminar el bordado, me di cuenta que las instrucciones indicaba que el bordado era con puntos especiales :S ! Por un momento pensé en comenzar uno nuevo pero finalmente deseche la idea pues me parecía que se veía bonito bordado con punto cruz. Para la parte trasera borde el año y "Feliz Navidad", uno sobre uno.

Me gusta mucho como quedó y me alegra mucho saber que a Carol también le gustó :)

On Saturday when I got home I found a package from Gabi in Australia. When I opened it I found this beautiful ornament that she had sent me for HoE's Words of Christmas exchange. I love it!!! In her note she tell's me it's done on 36ct linen with silk threads :) Love the way she finished it and her stitching is perfect!

El sábado cuando llegué a casa encontré un paquete de Gabi de Australia. Cuando lo abrí encontré este hermoso adorno que me había enviado para el intercambio de HoE's Words of Christmas. Me encanta! n su nota me indica que esta hecho en lino (36ct) con hilos de seda :) . Me parece hermoso el acabado que le ha dado y su bordado es impecable!

My 10th finish of the year

Here is the latest model I've stitched for Barbara Ana Designs. This time she asked me to stitch this cute robins wearing Christmas hats :) and finished them as a scissor fob. I'm not showing the back but the chart comes with an alphabet and numbers so you can personalize it with your name or initials and the year. I think the size is perfect also for a Chritmas ornament :)

I've also have finished a ornament for a exchange but I'll have to show it in another post because my partner hasn't received it yet. Now I'll continue working on Christmas Elf Fairy but I'm also thinking on starting something small for Halloween, you'll have to wait for my next post to see what I decided.

Aquí les muestro el último modeloq que bordé para Barbara Ana Designs. Esta vez me pidio que bordara estos lindos petirrojos usando gorros de Navidad :) y que les terminara como un "buscatijeras". En esta foto no les muestro el reverso pero el gráfifoincluye un alfabeto y números para que puedas personalizarlo con tu nombre o iniciales y el año. Creo que el tamaño también es perfecto como para un adorno de Navidad :)

Además de este modelo, también he bordado un adorno de Navidad para un intercambio pero como aún no lo tiene la destinataria aún no les puedo enseñar una foto. Ahora voy a retomar el bordado en Christmas Elf Fairy pero también estoy pensando en bordar algo pequeño para Halloween, tendran que esperar a mi sgte. post para ver que decidí finalmente ;)

Thank you all so much for wishing a speedy recovery to my little yorkie Mora, she's doing much better. We think she'll recover 100% from her injuries :)

Last week I stitched 4 more hours on Christmas Elf Fairy and this is how she looks so far...Now I've put her aside for a little bit because I have to stitch and finish a model. Once I'm done with it I'll pick her up again :)

Muchas gracias a todos los que desearon pronta mejoría para mi perrita Mora, ella eta mucho mejor. Creemos que se va a recuperar en un 100% :)

La semana pasada bordé 4 horas más en Chrsitmas Elf Fairy y asi es como se ve actualmente...la he dejado a un lado por elmomento ya que tengo que bordar un nuevo modelo para Barbara; una vez que haya finalizado éste continuaré con la hada.

A new start

I started a new project on the weekend. I didn't feel like stitching any one the pieces I had in my work in pogress pile, so I decided to make a new start and see if this new piece inspires me to pick up my stitching more frequently. I started Christmas Elf Fairy by Mirabilia, and hopefully I'll have it done in time for this year's Christmas. I'm using the threads and fabrics that came in the kit :) This is my progress after 3 hours of stitching...

He comenzado un nuevo proyecto este fin de semana. No tenía ganas de bordar en ninguno de los que tenía ya empezados, por lo que decidí comenzar uno nuevo. Mi elección fue Christmas Elf Fairy de Mirabilia, que esperotenerlo listo a tiempo para Navidad. Estoy usando los hilos y tela que vienen con el kit :) Este es mi avance luego de 3 horas...

Xmas Ornament sent and received :)

I got an email today from Marie P., letting me know that she got the little ornie I sent her for the HoE Lizzie Kate ornament exchange. For this exchange, I stitched Merry Chris-mouse from the Tiny Tidings series. I like small ornies that's why I did it on 40ct linen with DMC thread, for the beaded edge I used Mill Hills beads 02063 and 60161.

When I was almost finished stitching this piece I noticed I had made a huuuge mistake, I notice a big space between the letters and two of the gifts....I had added like 10 columns to the red gift, I didn't have time to stitch another piece so to fill the gap I added Christmas bulb lights to fill that space :P

Hoy recibí un correo de Marie P, haciendome saber que había recibido el pequeño adorno que le había enviado para un intercambio. Elegí Merry Chris-mouse, un diseño de la serie Tiny Tidings de Lizzie Kate. A mi particulatrmente me gustan los adornos pequeños por lo que hice este en un lino 40ct y utilicé hilos DMC y mostacillas d Mill Hills (02063 y 60161).

Cuando ya estaba a punto de terminar de bordar este diseño note que me habia equivocadoooo!,´vi mucho espacio entre las letras y los regalos por lo que al revisar bien la gráfica me di cuenta que había aunmentado como 10 columnas al regalo rojo, no tenpia tiempo de bordar otro diseño por lo que para llenar el espacio puse botones con forma de bombillas de luces de Navidad :P

Model stitching

This is the lastest model I've stitched for Barbara Ana, she has released this designs this week so I can now share a pic. It has been almost a year since I had stitched a model for Barbara, and like always I love how it turned out, really like the colors she used in it. She told me she wanted me to finish it as a scissor fob so that's what I did; I didn't have any Halloween beads to finish it so I ask DBF to do some for me and he came up with this cute cat and pumpkins :)

Este es el último modelo que he realizado para Barbara Ana, esta semana ella ha puesto a la venta este diseño por lo que ya puedo enseñar fotos de él. Hace casi un año desde que borde un modelo para Barbara, y como siempre me encantó el resultado, me gustan mucho la combinación de colores que empleo. Me pidio que lo teminara como un busca-tijeras y eo es lo que hice; no tenía ningún abalorio de Halloween por que le pedí a mi novio que me hiciera alguno para este diseño y me hizo este gracioso gato y calabazas.

Very little progress...

I've not had a lot of stitching time this week. Maria Fernanda has gone to bed late this week (around 10 pm) and by that time I was too tired to have long stitching sessions. But I still picked up my stitching at least for 30-60 minutes before I went to bed -.-
For the last three days I've worked on Faces of Faery and this is my progress so far.

Esta semana no he estado muy productiva en mis bordados. María Fernanda se ha estado quedando dormida alrededor de las 10 pm, y ya para esa hora estaba muy cansada como para tener largas sesiones de bordado. Pero igual he bordado al menos 30-60 minutos antes de acostarme -.-
Los últimos 3 días he estado bordando en Faces of Faery y este es mi progreso hasta el momento.

Still can't share my stitching

Last time I posted, I told you I was stitching but couldn't share it because it was a model for Barbara Ana Designs; well I finished the model last week but still can´t share a pic because the piece I'm stitching now is for an exchange. I think the recipient doesn't read my blog but just in case she does I won't share a pic of the whole piece just a small crop of it ;)

La última vez que publiqué les conté que no podía compartir una foto de lo que estaba bordando pues era un modelo de un nuevo diseño de Barbara Ana, bueno terminé el modelo pero aún no puedo compartir una foto de mis labores pues lo que estoy bordando ahora es para un intercambio. No creo que la persona que lo va a recibir lea mi blog pero por si acaso no publicaré una foto de toda la pieza sólo un pedacito de ésta ;)

No stitching to show you this week, I've stitched but can't share a pic because is a new model for Barbara Ana designs.
Next week, we celebrate in Peru our Independence Day so it's a short work week (it's that how you say it?), I'm hoping I'll have a lot stitching time ;) . After I finish the model I'll work again on SK Rapunzel, I want to finish page 1 before they send us page 2 by the end of August.

No tengo ningun bordado que mostrarles esta semana, y no es porque no haya bordado; sino que he estado trabajando en nuevo diseño de Barbara Ana designs que no puedo mostarle hasta que salga a la venta :). La próxima semana se celebra en Perú el día de la independencia por lo que sera una semana corta de trabajo (yeeee!! jiji) y como voy a tener varios días libres espero tener mucho tiempo para bordar :) Una vez que halla terminado el modelo para Barbara retomare mi bordado de SK Rapunzel, ya que quiero terminar la primera página antes que nos envien la número 2 a fines de agosto.

A quick post to share with you my progress on SK Rapunzel. I know I've not made alot of progress on it since my las post but that's because I've only stitched on it approximately four more hours. My photo is horrible but you have to trust me that detail looks amazing IRL :).

SK Rapunzel ~ new start

One June 16th, I started stitching SK Rapunzel, two weeks have passed and this is my progress so far. There is a lot of "confetti" stitches in this part of the design but I'm enjoying working on it. This is the first time I'm stitching a HAED design two over two (I'm doing it on 36ct Edinburgh linen) so far I'm happy with the way it looks :)

Now I'm now going to put this piece aside to start Nataliejo's Stitch Club 2011. I received the first part last week and it's beautiful!!!! Next week I'll show you my progress ;)

El 16 de junio empecé a bordar SK Rapunzel, luego de dos semanas de trabajar en él este es mi avance. Hay mucho "confetti" en esta parte del diseño pero a pesar de ello lo estoy disfrutando. Es la primera vez que bordo un diseño de HAED sobre 2 hebras de hilo (lo estoy realizando en un lino 36ct)hasta el momento me gusta como va quedando :)

Ahora voy aponer este proyecto a un lado para empezar el diseño de Nataliejo. Recibí la primera parte la semana pasada y es hermoso!!! La próxima semana les enseño mi avance ;)

Old and new

One of my goals for this year was to work on the projects I had left unfinished last year when I got pregnant. I left three HAEDs in progress (one of those I've already finished) and this week I picked up Faces of Faery 09, I started it in 2009 and only have left to stitch 2 pages (one is a partial one). This is how it looked the last time I worked on it, I'm hope I can finish it sometime this year :)

Una de mis metas de este año era completar los proyectos que había dejado a medias el año pasado cuando estaba embarazada. Dejé tres HAEDs en progreso (uno de ellos ya lo terminé) y esta semana retomé Faces of Faery 09, que había empezado en el 2009 y que sólo me faltan 2 páginas (una de ella parcial) para terminarlo. Así es como se veía la última vez que borde en él; espero poder terminarlo este año.

I've also started a new HAED :). I signed up for the bb's midyear SAL that started last week, my choice was a design by artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith that's called Storykeep Rapunzel. Here's a pic of how it should look like when it's finished...I'll show you my progress next week, when I have a little bit more done ;)

También he empezado un nuevo HAED :) . Me anoté en el SAL de medio año que empezó en el foro de HAED la semana pasada, my elección fue un diseño de la artista Jasmine Becket-Griffith que se llama Storykeep Rapunzel. Así es como debería verse una vez completado...les mostrare mi avance la próxima semana cuando haya avanzado un poco más ;)

Oh! and I've also signed up for a mystery project designed by Nataliejo. I'm waiting for the first part to arrive at my mailbox to get started on that one :)

As you may notice I've been on a really stitchy mood lately :P

Ah! y también me he anotado para un projecto misterioso diseñado por Nataliejo. Estoy esperando que la primera parte aparezca en mi buzón para empezarlo :)

Como verán estoy con muchas ganas de bordar últimamente :P

7th finish of 2011

Last Wednesday, María Fernanda was already asleep when I got home from work (around 5.30 pm), so I took advantage of that time and stitched until midnight :) (yay! haven't been able to do that in a while). That night I finished "Dont Disturb"; I wasn't sure if I wanted to stitch all that white for the sign's background but at the end decided to stitch it. I hate to stitch with white because the stitches don't look even but this time it wasn't so bad and I'm happy with the way they look :)

El miércoles, encontré a María Fernanda ya durmiendo cuando llegue a casa del trabajo (más o menos a las 5.30 pm), así que decidí aprovechar ese tiempo y borde hasta la medianoche :) (hacia mucho tiempo que no podía hacer eso!). Esa noche terminé "Don't Disturb", no estaba segura si bordar el fondo del panel pues me parece que las cruces no se ven parejas cuando las haces con blanco. Pero bueno al final lo bordé y no fue tan malo...me parece que ha quedado bien :)

This week I don't have a finish to share, instead I have a pic of my currents wips. As I said in my previous post my stitching time is very limited this days so my progress is slow. One of the pieces is a Shepherd's Bush freebie I found online, I work on it on my ride to and from work and only when the bus is not too crowded. . The other piece is a Soda Stitch design, I love the bright color in it :), they really stand out against the fabric.

Esta semana no he podido terminar ningún proyecto, así que les muestro una foto de mis avances. Como mencioné en la entrada anterior mi tiene para bordar es muy limitado estos dias por lo que mi avance es lento. Uno de los diseños que estoy realizando es un gráfico gratis de Shepherd's Bush, sólo bordo en él durante el viaje de ida y vuelta a trabajo y sólo cuando el bus no esta muy congestionado. El otro es un diseño de Soda Stitch, me encantan los colores que se utilizan en este proyecto. Realmente resaltan en la tela.

Remember the little dragon I finished a couple of weeks ago? Well, I had it framed immediately and on Saturday I gave it to my dad. It's a gift for my baby brother Samuel who is a month and a half younger than my daughter ;)

Se acuerdan del dragoncito que terminé hace un par de semanas? Pues lo mande a enmarcar inmediatamente y el sábado se lo di a papá. Fue un regalo para mi hermanito Samuel, que es mes y medio menor que mi hija ;)

I don't have a lot of time to stitch at home, so I'm taking advantage of my lunch breaks at work and the rides to and from work to stitch a little bit. I've finished two small freebies so far. Both are designs from Janie Hubble's website.

At the begining of the year, I had set myself some stitching goals. One of those goals was to finish this HAED design that I started on January 1st 2010. I'm happy to say that is finally finished and I love how it came out. It's a cute little dragon, isn't it? :)

I've signed up for HAED's bb new SAL, it's going to start at the end of June. I've already picked my choice, when it begins I'll show you a pic of the design I'll be stitching ;).

A comienzos de año, establecí algunos objetivos para mis bordados. Uno de estos era terminar este diseño de HAED que había comenzado el 1ro de enero de 2010. Estoy muy contenta pues finalmente lo terminé y encanta el resultado final. No les parece tierno el dragoncito? :)

Ya me incribí al nuevo SAL que empezara a fines de junio en el foro de HAED. Ya he hecho mi elección del diseño y les mostraré cual es una vez que haya empezado el SAL ;)

Finally something to share

It's been almost two month without updating this blog. The thing is ... I'm not stitching much lately so I don't have a lot to share these days. I did finish a small freebie on March, I messed up two colors but I had almost finished stitching this piece when I notice the mistake so I did not correct it.

Son ya casi dos meses que no actualizo mi blog. La verdad es que no estoy bordando mucho ultimamente y por lo tanto no tengo mucho que compartir. En Marzo termine un pequeño freebie, pero confundi 2 de los colores que indicaba el grafico :\ como ya estaba casi terminando el bordando cuando note el error lo he dejado asi.

After I finished the freebie, I picked up again a small HAED design (SK Dragon Luck) that I had last worked on in February 2010. It's a two page design and I had finished page 1 last year. I started page 2 at the begining of April and this is my progress so far. I hope I can finish it this month :)

Luego de haber terminado el freebie, retome el bordado de un HAED (SK Dragon Luck) que habia dejado a medio a un lado en febrero del año pasado. Es un diseño de dos páginas y ya había completado la página 1 el año pasado. Empecé la página 2 a principios de abril y este es mi avance al dia de hoy. Espero terminarlo este mes :)

During Holy Week of Easter we went to visit my boyfriend´s family, in his hometown Ayacucho (you can read about the city here). We had a wonderful time there! Here are some photos of us :)

Progress and a small finish

Finally I have some progress to share. I've been stitching on Shh Now and have finished another page, I have now finished 7 pages :) Because I'm constantly making pauses to feed my baby I chose to stitch an "easy" page ;) The page I just finished was mostly stitched with DMC3865.

Por fin tengo algo que mostrarles. He estado bordando en Shh Now y he completado una pagina mas, ahora ya tengo 7 paginas completas :) Como tengo que hacer pausas contantes para atender a mi bebe, elegi bordar una pagina "facil" ;) La pagina que he completado esta casi toda bordado con DMC3865.

A few hours ago I had my first finish of 2011: You're my vitamin! I'm very happy with the way it turned out, I changed the children's color hair to black... the rest of the design is stitched as charted. I love this cute design and I think soon I'll be starting another one just have to decided which one :P
I have not decide yet if I'll finish it as a pillow or if I'll frame it...have to make up my mind

Hace unas horas terminé mi primer proyecto del 2011: You're my vitamin! Estoy muy contenta con el resultado final, cambie el color de cabello de los niños a negro...el resto del diseño lo bordé tal como lo indicaban en el gráfico. Me parecen super tiernos estos diseños y creo que pronto estaré empezando otro sólo tengo que decidir cuál :P

Aún no se si lo terminare como una almohada o si lo enmarcare...decisiones decisiones....

After finishing You're my vitamin!, I've decided to work a little on some of my HAEDs. I've picked up Shh Now and my goal is to finish at least 2 pages maybe even 3 pages so I'll reach the half way point on this design. This is how I left it the last time I worked on it, almost a year ago.

Después de terminar You're my vitamin!, he decidido avanzar un poco en alguno de los Haeds que tengo empezados. He escogido bordar en Shh Now, mi meta es terminar al menos 2 páginas más o incluso hasta 3 y así alcanzar el punto medio en este diseño. Así es como lo dejé la última vez que bordé en él, hace ya casi un año.

As promised in my previous post, here's is a pic of my current WIP: You're my vitamin! Have to stitch the girl's legs and finish the background and it will be done. Hopefully I'll have a finish to share in a few days :)

Last year was not a good stitching year for me, I only finished 6 projects. I hope this year goes better and I'll have more finishes to share :)

Como lo prometi en la entrada anterior, aqui les muestro una foto del bordado que estoy realizando: You're my vitamin! Falta bordar las piernas de la niña y completar el fondo y ya estara terminado. Ojala se los pueda mostrar terminado en unos dias.

El año pasado no fue un buen año para mis bordados, solo logre terminar 6 proyectos. Espero este año me vaya mejor y tenga mas proyectos terminados que compartir con Uds.

I've been meaning to post for a while now but just couldn't find the time to sit in front of the computer to do it.

This will not be a stitching post (promise to do one sometime next week), just wanted to share with you a photo of my beautiful baby girl, Maria Fernanda. She was born by c-section on January 11th at 38 weeks weighting 3.540 kg and measuring 51 cm.

He querido realizar una publicación hace varios días en el blog, pero una cosa u otra no me han permitido sentarme frente a la computadora para hacerlo.

Este no es un post acerca de mis bordados (prometo enseñarles algo la próxima semana), sino mas bien para enseñarles una foto de mi hermosa bebe, María Fernanda. María Fe nació por cesárea el 11 de enero a las 38 semanas de embarazo, peso 3.540kg y midió 51cm.

The little boy is done!

Finally I finished the little boy in my Soda Stitch project. This morning I woke up early (5am! that's super early for me, I usually wake up at 7.30am :P) and decided to finish the boy's hair. As you can see I've changed its color because I wanted both children to have dark hair...I'm really happy with the way it looks :)

The battery of my camera is dead so I had to scan my piece this time (the fabric color is really off :S)

Por fin terminé el niñito en mi proyecto de Soda Stitch. Hoy desperte temprano (5am! que es super temprano para mis estandares ya que normalmente despierto a las 7.30am :P) y decidí terminar si o si el cabello del niño. Como notaran he cambiado el color original del cabello pues queria que ambos niños tengan el pelo oscuro...estoy muy contenta con el cambio me gusta como esta quedando.

La bateria de mi camara esta descargada así que tuve que escanearla esta vez (el color de la tela salio muy mal :S)

Three weeks ago, I went with my boyfriend and my sister Carol to have my 4D scan and we the chance to see the baby moving inside me ♥ . Here's a pic of the baby's face :)

Hace tres semanas, fui con mi novio y mi hermana Carol a hacerme la ecografía 4D y tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a la bebé moverse dentro de mi ♥. Aca les enseño una foto de su cara :)

Pumpkin Pie

This week, I have a small finish to share with you :) I put aside for a couple of weeks my Soda project to stitch this cute pumpkin-cat for my boyfriend. He made me a carved Halloween pumpkin so in return I stitch Pumpkin Pie for him...he looooves cats. I added a bat button from JABC because the cat looks kind of scared so this one is spooked by the bat :) No idea how I'm going to finish it, maybe into a medium size tin, like this one...but I'm not sure as it has to be done before the weekend.

Esta semana, tengo un pequeño bordado que mostrarles :) Deje un par de semanas a un lado mi proyecto de Soda para bordar este simpático gato-calabaza para mi novio. El me hizo una calabaza de Halloween por lo que en retorno yo le hice este gatito....le encantan los gatos. Agregué un botón de murciélago pues el gato tiene cara de asustado así que mi historia es que este gatito esta espantado por el murciélago ;) . Aún no tengo claro que tipo de acabado le voy a dar, tal vez haga algo así... no lo sé pero tiene que estar terminado-terminado antes del fin de semana.

QS Little Flutterby - progress

Last month I showed you Carol's progress on her HAED piece, so I guess it's time to whow you an update. She's been working on it for two months now and has finished the three top pages (6 more to go :) ). I've seen this piece in person and I looove the colors...it will look great in my baby's room ♥

By the way, my pregnancy is going great...my belly finally popped :) I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and he told me the baby is doing great and her weight and size is perfect :) . We have scheduled an appointment for a 4D scan in two weeks ... I'm so excited ♥♥ !!

Hace un mes les enseñe el avance de Carol en su HAED, así que creo que ya es tiempo de mostrales como va hasta ahora. Ha estado trabajando en este proyecto por dos meses y acaba de terminar las 3 primeras páginas (aún le quedan 6 más :) ). He tenido la oportunidad de ver su avance en persona y la verdad esta muy lindo...los colores son super vivos...se vera genial en el cuarto de mi bebé.

Por cierto, todo va muy bien con mi embarazo...por fin aparecio mi panza :) Tuve una cita con el doctor el lunes y me dijo que el bebé esta muy bien y que su tamaño y peso estan perfectos :) Hemos programado una ecografía 4D dentro de dos semanas...que emoción ♥♥ !!

Just a quick post to show you my progress of You're my vitamin!. I've not been stitching much this last few days (I rather sleep than stitch :P), but the boy is almost done :) . This is such a cute design...I'm loving it!

Sólo una pequeña entrada para mostrarles mi progreso en "You're my vitamin!"... no he estado bordando mucho estos dias (he preferido dormir a bordar :P) pero bueno hay progreso y el niño esta casi listo :) . Este diseño es super tierno...me encanta trabajar en él!

Hello! It's me again after just one day (which is so uncommon in this blog :P) I have something new to show :) This time it's my sister's stitching...she's almost done with page 1 of QS Little Flutterby. It's looking good, right?

Hola! A pesar de que ayer publiqué mi avance en el blog hoy nuevamente tengo algo que enseñarles (después de un sólo día eso es raro en este blog :P). Esta vez es el avance de uno de los bordados de mi hermana...ya casi termina la página 1 de su HAED - QS Little Flutterby. Le va quedando muy bien, verdad?

It's Monday so I guess it's time to show you my progress of "You are my vitamin!" after my stitchy-weekend. I think I did pretty well and I'm very pleased with my progress :)

Es lunes, así es hora de mostrarles mi progreso en "You are my vitamin!" ("Tu eres mi vitamina!") luego de mi fin de semana de bordado. No me fue nada mal, estoy muy satisfecha con mi progreso :)

Here's a pic of my new start, a design by Soda Stitch. This is after 4 evenings of stitching (aprox. 6 hours of stitching). I'm doing it on a 32ct Belfast Linen one over two; at first I wasn't sure if I liked how the fabric showed though the black crosses but after filling in most of the little cat I like the soft look :) and I'm happy with my decision to stitch it one over two. You can see a pic of the entire design on the sidebar of my blog...I'm planning a "stitchy-weekend" so hopefully next week I'll have a lot more progress to show :)

Aquí les muestro mi nuevo proyecto, un diseño de Soda Stitch. Este es mi progreso luego de 4 sesiones de bordado (aprox. 6 horas en total). Lo estoy realizando en un lino 32ct uno sobre dos, al principio no estaba segura si me gustaba cómo se veía el fondo de la tela a través de las cruces negras pero luego de rellenar un poco el gatito me gusta como se ve, me parece que se ve un poco más delicado así que estoy contenta de mi decisión de bordarlo así. Pueden ver cómo es el diseño completo en la barra lateral del blog...estoy planeando tener un fin de semana de bordado por lo que espero poder enseñarles un buen avance la próxima semana :)

A small finish ºÜº

Like I've said in previous posts, I kind of lost my stitching mojo for the last few months but I think I finally go it back :) I've put aside for a while my HAED pieces and will only stitch on smaller pieces, that way I can get motivated with my stitching again.
When Barbara Ana sent me her one of her models to stitch, she also sent me this cute little design. Love those big eyes of the chameleons! I chose to stitch it in a Dark Chocolate fabric and love how the color pop on the fabric. I had to stitch the stitcks where the chameleons are standing in DMC433 so it wouldn't get lost in the fabric.
Hope to show you my new start sometime next week ;) !!!

Como ya mencione antes, en los últimos meses perdí un poco las ganas de bordar pero que finalmente eso ya paso y volveré a mis bordados :) Voy a dejar a un lado los HAEDs que estaba haciendo y sólo realizaré bordados más pequeños, creo que así me mantendré motivada a bordar.

Cuando Barbara Ana me envió el gráfico de uno de sus diseño de Kokeshi para que le bordara, también me envió este pequeño diseño de camaleones que me encantó. Esos ojazos me encantan! Escogí para este diseño, un lino de color chocolate oscuro y me parecen que los colores sobresalen muy bien con este fondo. Lo que si es que tuve que cambiar el color de los tronquitos donde están parados los camaleones a DMC433 pues el marrón original se perdía en la tela.

Espero poder mostrarles un avance de mi nuevo bordado la próxima semana ;)!!!

First of all thank you all so much for your good wishes about my pregnancy:) The past week was really difficult because I caught a stomach bug and had to be hospitalized because of a severe dehydration. Yesterday I was released and I'm now back home recovering :)

Carol sent me a photo of QS Little Flutterby, I'm loving it so far :) She's doing it on a 28ct evenwave, one over one (tent stitch)...I think this is a little over half a page.

Primero que nada, muchas gracias a todas por los bueno deseos acerca de mi embarazo :) La semana pasada fue un poco complicada pues tuve una fuerte infección estomacal y tuve que ser internada de emergencia debido a una severa deshidratacion. Ayer ya fui dada de alta y ahora estoy recuperandome en casa :)

It's been almost three months since I updated my blog and the truth is I had nothing to show because I've not been stitching all this time. But I do have some news to share...I'm pregnant!! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and finally all the symptoms I had during the first trimester are gone :) In my next doctor's appointment will find out the sex of the baby *yay*

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la ultima vez que publique algo en este blog y la verdad es que no he tenido nada nuevo que mostrar ya que no he estado bordado en todo este tiempo. Pero si tengo noticias que contar..estoy embarazada!! Tengo 17 semanas de embarazo y felizmente ya están pasando todas las molestias que tuve en el primer trimestre :) En mi próxima consulta que será a fin de mes espero me confirmen el sexo del bebé *yay*

Today, my sister Carol sent me a photo of her progress on a Sara Moon design she is stitching. It's looking lovely, right? She's using the fabric and threads that came with the kit (Lanarte).

Hoy, mi hermana Carol me envió una foto de su avance en un bordado de Sara Moon que esta realizando. Esta quedando bonito, verdad? Lo esta realizando con los hilos y la tela que vinieron en el kit de Lanarte.

Carol is going to start stitching a HAED, this time she chose QS Little Flutterby (art by Jennifer L. Nilsson), if my baby is a girl this will be for her and it will be hanged in her bedroom :). In my last scan my doctor told me it looked like it was going to be a girl but he couldn't confirm it ... we're hoping his right so that Carol doesn't have to start another design ;)

Carol va a empezar un nuevo proyecto de HAED, esta vez eligió QS Little Flutterby (arte de Jennifer L. Nilsson), si mi bebe es una niña entonces este sera para ella y lo colgaremos en su dormitorio :) En mi ultima ecografia el doctor me dijo que parecía que seria niña pero que no me lo podía confirmar ... esperemos que no se equivoque para que Carol no tenga que empezar otro proyecto ;)

Kokeshi Biscornu II

Hello!! I've not been stitching much lately, but I do have something to show you today :) . This is the latest model I've stitched for Barbara Ana, it's called Kokeshi Biscornu II and is the second one of this new biscornu series she designing. I love this biscornu, the little dolls are really cute and love the color she chose for the design.

Holas!! No he estado bordando mucho últimamente, pero hoy les tengo algo para mostrar :) . Este es el último modelo que he bordado para Barbara Ana, se llama Kokeshi Biscornu II y es el segundo en su nueva serie de biscornus que esta realizando. Me encanta este biscornu, las nuñequitas son una monada y la combinación de colores me gusta mucho.

Yesterday I finished the piece I started 2 weeks ago, not only did I finish the stitching part but I even turned it into a small pillow today :) This is the third time I stitch a design featuring Wordsworth, he's such a cute cat :) When I finished stitching it I wasn't sure how I wanted to finish-finish it but then I found this mustard flannel in my fabric stash I thought would be perfect for a small pillow. I'm very happy about the way it came out :)

Ayer terminé de bordar el proyecto que habia empezado hace 2 semanas, no sólo terminé de bordarlo pero incluso lo convertí en una pequeña almohada hoy :) Este es la tercera vez que bordo un diseño con este gatito, me parece super tierno :) Cuando terminé el bordado no esatba segura cómo lo queria terminar-terminar pero cuando encontre esta franela mostaza entre mis telas me parecio que seria perfecta para una pequeña almohada. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado final :)

A new start

Hi! It's been a while since I updated my blog. I just didn't have anything to share as I haven't been stitching much lately. But this morning I decided to start something small and see if that motivates me to stitch more. Here's a pic of what I have done so far, it's a kit by Anchor but I changed the fabric from the kit to lugana. My plan is to finish it this week, lets see how that goes :)

Hola! Ha pasado un buen tiempo desde que actualice mi blog. No he estado bordando mucho ultimamente por lo que no he tenido nada nuevo de compartir. Pero esta mañana decidi comenzar una labor pequeña y ver si eso me motiva a coger la aguja mas seguido. Aqui una foto de mi avance; es un kit de Anchor pero he reemplazado la tela que venia por lugana. Mi plan es terminarlo esta semana, vamos a ver que tal me va :)

Dogs leave paw prints

This week I finished a small design by Lizzie*Kate called Dogs leave paw prints. It's stitched on Country Mocha belfast linen (Zweigart) with DMC threads (used the conversion provided in the chart). I already have an idea of how I want to finish it but you'll have to wait a little bit to see it :) The dog in the picture is Hugo, our beautiful English bulldog, who died a few years ago from liver cancer.

Esta semana bordé un diseño de Lizzie*Kate. Lo he realizado sobre lino de Zweigart ("Country Mocha") con la conversión de hilos DMC que se recomendaba. Más o menos tengo una idea de que tipo de acabado le quiero dar pero bueno tendran que esperar un poco para verlo :) El perrito de la foto es Huguito, nuestro precioso bulldog inglés, que murio hace algunos años de cancer hepático.

This week I received the threads I needed to complete page 1 of SK Dragon Luck. This is how it looks so far; now I have to wait until April when the second and last page of HAED's freebie SAL will be realesed.

Esta semana recibí los hilos que me faltaban para completar la primera página de SK Dragon Luck y así es como se ve por el momento, ahora tengo que esperar hasta abril donde saldrá la segunda y última página del SAL que se esta llevando a cabo en el foro de HAED.

This is a photo I took of my doggies today. Mora is now 6 month old and Mylo is 3 year old. Mylo hates to have his photo taken, it was impossible to get one where he was looking at the camara.

Esta es una foto que les tomé hoy a mis perritos, Mylo y Mora, de 3 años y 6 meses, respectivamente. Mylo detesta que le tomen fotos, fue imposible obtener una en la que el mirara a la cámara.

First finish of 2010!!

Today I had my first happy dance of 2010!! And I not only finished the stitching but also finished it as a no-sew cube (the second one I do). Need practice how to make a nice bow, but I'm still happy with the outcome :)

I made a couple of changes in the thread color of the original design. I used Anchor 848 for the mice fur and all the parts that the chart called for DMC4200 I substitued with ThreadWorx 1094 (party time). As you can see in the pic on the left, I had stitched some letter with DMC4200 but I wasn't sure I liked it so decided to look through my collection of threads and found this choice of ThreadWorx I like best for this design :)

Hoy terminé mi primer bordado del año!! Y no sólo lo terminé de bordar sino que hasta le dí un acabado, en este caso un cubo (el segundo que hago). Aún necesito practicar un poco cómo hacer un moño más bonito, pero igual estoy bastante contenta con el resultado final :)

Le hice un par de modificaciones a los colores del diseño original. El pelaje del ratoncito lo bordé con Anchor 848 y las partes del diseño que indicaba bordarlos con DMC4200 lo sustituí con ThreadWorx 1094 (Party Time), como verán en la foto de la izquierda ya había bordado gran parte de las letras con el hilo DMC pero la verdad no me convencía mucho y entonces decidí buscar entre mi colección de hilos otra opción y encontré este de ThreadWorx que me gusta más para este diseño :)

Last week there was a week long theme SAL in HAED's bb (Friday through Thursday). The theme was "faces", so I joined in with Faces of Faery 09. I had this week off from work, so I had a lot of stitching time and managed to finish the face :) yay!

La semana pasada hubo, en el foro de HAED, un SAL temático que duraba una semana de viernes a jueves. El tema en esta oportunidad era "caras", me anoté y trabajé en Faces of Faery 09. I have a new finish from Carol to share :). On Friday, she put the last stitch on Red Snowman. No idea how she's going to finish it, I guess she'll probably frame it so she can hang in her home for the Holidays.

HAED SALs

This past weekend was the second to last freebie SAL in Haed's bb. Again I picked up Dark Cherry and finally completed page 3! There's no way I'm going to finish it this year but I'll keep stitching on her every second weekend of the month until it's done.

Sign ups for next year's freebie SAL are now open in HAED's bb. This time there are four choices of Storykeeps and the chart will be sent out in three parts starting the first week of January (one page every two months); there is no pressure on finishing the design by the end of the SAL, they just ask you to post pics of your progress in the bb.

El fin de semana pasado fue el penúltimo "freebie SAL" del foro de Haed. Como siempre bordé en Dark Cherry y finalmente completé la página 3! No creo poder terminarlo este año por lo que seguiré, cada segundo fin de semana del mes, trabajando él hasta completarlo.

Ya se abrieron las inscripciones para el freebie SAL del próximo año, esta vez será un Storykeep y el gráfico se entregará en tres partes a partir de enero (una pagina cada dos meses), no hay ningún tipo de presión para que lo termines en un tiempo determinado, sólo te piden que subas fotos de tus avances en el foro.

Carol's stitching...

Carol is home recovering from a laparoscopic surgery she had on Thursday (she had appendicitis), and while recoverying and taking it easy she's doing some stitching. Yesterday she finished Faces of Faery 03 that she started in July. She only had about twenty stitches left to do but because they were all different colors she was too lazy to pick it up. Her current wip is in her place she had not other option but to finish Faces of Faery, it only took her 10 minutes!

The picture hasn't turned out that good, IRL you can not see that much fabric showing through the stitches, except a few spots here and there in the angel's hair.

Carol esta en casa recuperándose de una cirugía laparoscópica por apendicitis que tuvo el jueves y mientras se esta recuperando pues esta aprovechando para bordar. Ayer terminó Faces of Faery 03 que empezó en julio. Sólo le faltaban veinte puntos creo, pero le daba flojera hacerlos pues cada uno era de diferente color. Pero como su otro projecto esta en su depa pues no le quedo otro remedio que terminarlo :P

La foto no me ha salido bien, en realidad la tela no se ve a través del bordado excepto alguno que otro puntito en la parte del pelo del angel.

Last week, I noticed I have not shared a pic of Shh Now since June, when it was just a white blob! I uploaded a pic on my gallery put forgot to post it here!

She's stitching up really fast (I think) and even though it has a lot of white I do not get bored at all!!

Well, here's an updated pic...I've now finished 3 pages (almost four), only fifteen more to go!

La semana pasada me di cuenta que no les habia enseñado una foto de Shh Now desde junio, cuando sólo era una pequeña mancha blanca! Subí una foto en mi galería cuando complete mi segunda página pero me olvide de enseñarla acá!

Se avanza bastante rápido en este diseño (al menos eso creo) y a pesar de que tiene un montón de blanco no me aburro de trabajar en ella.

Acá una foto actualizada de mi avance...ya termine 3 páginas (bueno casi cuatro), sólo faltan quince para terminar!

Acabo de regresar de cenar con papá y por fin le pude entregar The Guardian ya en su marco y todo!! Me tomo más de dos años en bordarlo y cuatro meses enmarcarlo jiji ... que maaaaal!!!

Remember a cuople of weeks ago I told about my 3 year old yorkie not getting along with my new puppy, Mora...well that's not the case anymore !! Here's a small video of them playing fetch ...

This week I've been stitching a little bit on Donner...I'm making good progress on him, don't you think? As I said in a previous post I'm backstitching and beading as a go.
I could not finish the body of the reindeer as I'm missing two threads, I ordered them a month ago and still haven't receive them as couple of items I bought are on backorder I keeping my fingers crossed that I receive them this month.

He estado avanzando un poco Donner esta semana...he hecho un buen progreso, no? Como ya mencione en un post anterior estoy haciendo el pespunte y colocando las mostacillas a medida que avanzo.

No pude completar el cuerpo del reno pues me estan faltando dos hilos que necesito, los pedi hace como un mes mas o menos pero aun no los recibo pues un par de cosas que compre en ese mismo pedido aun no esperando que se los envie el distribuidor Estoy cruzando mis dedos para que todo llegue a tiempo y pueda terminarlo este mes.

I finished this little ornament last night. It's a design by Helga Mandl that I bought a couple of years ago (I think), I'm not completely satisfied with my choice of fabric but overall I think it doesn't look bad. Added black and green beads to the border.

Anoche, terminé este pequeño adorno. Es un diseño de Helga Mandl que compré hace un par de años (creo); no estoy 100% satisfecha con mi elección de tela pero tampoco creo que quedo feo. Agregué mostacillas negras y verdes al borde del adorno.

Halloween stitching

Last night I finished this cute halloween design by Barbara Ana. I think it's adorable...love it!

I made a few color changes; stitched the wording with Atalie ~ Amethyste as I thought the color looked better with my choice of fabric; and replaced DMC of witch cheeks and broomstick with Anchor 76 and 889, respectively. Loooove the end result!!

No idea how I'm going to finish-finish it.

Anoche termine de bordar este tierno diseño de halloween de Barbara Ana.

Realice algunos cambios de color; la frase la borde con hilo Atalie ~ Amathyste pues me parecio que iba mejor con el color de tela que habia elegido; y reemplace el DMC de las mejillas de la bruja y el palo de la escoba por hilos Anchor 76 y 889, respectivamente. Me encanta el resultado final!!

No tengo idea aun que tipo de acabado le voy a dar.

I stitched this piece last year but never got around to finishing it as a biscornu. Last week while going through my finished pieces I decided to finish it. When I was sewing the biscornu, I noticed I had not stitched the "tail" of one of the ghosts...so I guess I can consider this a 2009 finish

El año pasado, borde este diseño pero nunca le acabe como biscornu. La semana pasada que estaba viendo las piezas que tengo bordadas pero que aun estan esperando ser terminadas-terminadas, lo vi y pues nada decidi terminarlo. Mientras estaba cosiendo me di cuenta que me habia olvidado de bordar la "cola" de uno de los fantasmas...asi que supongo que realmente no lo termine el año pasado y lo puedo considerar como algo que termine de bordar este año

This past weekend was the freebie SAL in HAED's bb, so I stitched on Dark Cherry. I worked on page 3 and wanted to finished it during this SAL but there's a lot of confetti stitches in this page! I thought I had not made good progress, but if I compare the before and after SAL pics I think I didn't do that bad!

El fin de semana pasado fue el freebie SAL en el foro de HAED por lo que nuevamente borde en Dark Cherry. Avance la pagina 3, en realidad mi objetivo era terminar esta pagina pero hay demasiado puntos "confetti" (ya saben un puntito de un color por aqui otro puntito por aca, etc etc)! Pense que no habia tenido un buen progreso, pero al ver las fotos del antes y despues creo que no esta nada mal !

Stitching a Xmas gift

This week I've been stitching on one of Nora Corbett's Christmas Eve Couriers, Donner. I started this at the end of June and have not touched it since. I'm doing it on the recommended color and count of fabric but instead of linen I'm using an evenweave (jobelan). And I'm backstitching and beading as I go, I really don't want to leave all that to the end.

My mom collect reindeers so this is Christmas gift for her .
It's a holiday here in Peru so I'm off to stitch and do the beading in the right hand corner ...happy stitching!!!

Esta semana he estado bordando en uno de los renos de Nora Corbett, Donner (Trueno). Lo empecé a fines de junio pero solo bordé un poco en él y después ni lo toque. Lo estoy realizando en el color y "count" de tela recomendados pero en vez de lino estoy usando jobelan. A medida que avanzo estoy haciendo el pespunte y colocando las mostacillas, no quiero dejar todo es0 para el final.

Mi mamá colecciona renos así que este será un regalo de Navidad para ella.

Hoy es un día feriado en Perú, así que lo voy a aprovechar para bordar un poco más en él y terminar la esquina inferior derecha del diseño. Feliz bordado!!!

It's been a while...

... since my last update !!!
August and September where really busy month at work for me and got home around 10pm with no desire what so ever to pick up a needle and stitch . I did stitch a little on the weekends but I just didn't feel I made enough progress to justify taking pictures. To relax from those long days of work on Sept. 19th my sister and I went on a short vacation to Florida , we had a great time! It was a little bit hot but fun .

Agosto y setiembre fueron meses muy ocupados en mi trabajo, llegaba a casa alrededor de las 10pm con absolutamente ningún deseo de coger la aguja y bordar . Los fines de semana bordaba un poco pero no lo suficiente como para tomar fotos de mi avance.
Después de tanto trabajo, a mediados de setiembre mi hermana y yo nos fuimos de vacaciones a Florida , la pasamos super bien! Hacia bastate calor pero igual disfrutamos mucho el viaje

In our last day in Miami we found a Michaels that was near a mall we were going to. It did not have a lot of cross stitch stuff but there were some OttLite lamps and they were 50% off!! So I HAD to buy one, right?! I bought the portable one in pink .

An hour ago I finished Boo! Club :) !!I stitched it on the recommended linen and used the called for DMC, WDW and GAST threads. The only changed I made is in a candy in the bottom of the border that I used WDW purple majesty instead of taffeta as I didn't have enough a of the later to stitch the candy.

The photo doesn't reflect correctly the colors of fabric and thread as I took the pic on artificial light.

Hace una hora terminé Boo! Club :) , un diseño de Lizzie*Kate. Lo bordé usando la tela e hilos recomendados por la diseñadora. El único cambio que hice fue bordar uno de los carmelos del borde con WDW Purple Majesty en vez de Taffeta pues no tenía suficiente de éste último.

La foto no reflej los colores reales de hilos y tela usada pues tomé la foto en luz artificial.

Last week I received an early birthday gift from Becky K. She told me she wasn't sure how much time it will take for the package to travel from USA to Peru so she sent it early that way I would receive it on time for my birthday :) My birthday is still a few weeks away but it was so nice so receive Becky's package in the mail!!!

She made a beautiful pinkeep with a Lizzie Kate design (August block) and she included great goodies in her package (a chart from my wish list, a cute little pair of scissors, rings, a highlighter and a some fabric)

La semana pasada recibí un regalo de cumpleaños de Becky K. Ella me contó que no estaba segura cuánto tomaría en llegar su paquete de USA a Perú así que decidió enviarlo temprano para estar segura que llo tendría a tiempo para mi cumple. Aún faltan un par de semanas para mi cumpleaños pero genial recibir los regalos la semana pasada :)!!

Ella me hizo un lindo pinkeep usando un diseño de Lizzie Kate (August block) e incluyó varias cositas en su paquete (un patrón, tijeritas, anillos, resaltador y una telita navideña)

Every second weekend of the month is HAED's freebie SAL so I picked up again QS Dark Cherry and made great progress, I'm half way thru page 3 :) Here are the before and after pics. In the photo you can see the pair of scissor I won in July's giveaway of Our Friends' HAED SAL blog :)

Well I'm off to have lunch with my brother and SIL as they are celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary today, have a great week!!

It's been almost two weeks since I updated this blog, I guess I just didn't feel like sharing anything.

Last week I signed up for HAED's 4th Week long SAL and decided to start a new project, didn't have that much time to stitch but still managed to put a few hours in my HAED. It's called Faces of Faery 09 and I'm stitching it on 25ct Jobelan one over one ~ full crosses. There are a lot of blocks of colors in this design so I think it will stitch up pretty fast (for a HAED that is!)

Han pasado casi dos semanas desde que actualicé el blog, supongo que no tenía nada que compartir.

La semana pasada me anoté a un SAL en el foro de HAED y entonces decidí empezar un nuevo proyecto, no tuve mucho tiempo para bordar pero igual logre un buen avance. El diseño se llama Faces of Faery 09 y lo estoy realizando en 25ct jobelan uno sobre uno. Hay muchos bloques de colores en este diseño así que creo que lo podre avanzar rápido (bueno rápido considerando que es un HAED!).

Now that The Guardian is finished, I've made Boo Club my focus piece. I really want to finish it on time for Halloween and want to start L*K's new Christmas series but first I promised myself I had to finish this one. This weekend I finished two blocks: creepy and pumpkin; as you can see I already have more than 50% of this series stitched :)

Ahora que ya terminé The Guardian, he hecho Boo Club mi proyecto principal. Quiero terminarlo en tiempo para Halloween y además quiero empezar la nueva serie de Navidad de Lizzie Kate pero antes me prometí terminar este. Thank you all so much for your comments about my finish in my previous post. To tell you the truth at one point I thought I was never going to finish The Guardian ;)

I've been really lazy with my stitching since I finished The Guardian, but still this past weekend was Haed's freebie SAL and I worked a little on Dark Cherry. I finished page 2 and made a very small start on page 3.

Muchas gracias por sus comentarios en mi último post. Para ser sincera a veces pensaba que nunca iba a poder terminar de bordar los lobos ;)

Desde que terminé The Guardian, he estado con bastante flojera de coger la aguja pero como el fin de semana anterior fue el "freebie SAL" en el foro de HAED pues bordé un poco en QS Dark Cherry. Terminé la página 2 y tuve un pequeñisimo comienzo en la página 3.

Guess what...it's FINISHED!!!! Yep, I finished it on Monday but wanted to wash it before I showed it here so you had to wait almost a week because I was lazy and did not do it until last night ;) It took me more than 2 years to finish it (approx. 265hrs of stitching).

Adivinen...por fin terminé los lobos!!! En realidad lo terminé el lunes pero queria lavarlo antes de enseñarlo acá. Ha sido un proyecto en progreso por un poco más de dos años y me tomo aproximadamente 265 hrs de bordados.

Carol's stitching

After 5 months of stitching on Olivia's Orchard, my sister Carol finished it on Wednesday. Before she started this design she had not stitched anything for a year almost! But once she saw Hannah Disney's chart on HAED's website she just felt the need to stitch again :) This is not the first HAED she's finished, on 2006 she stitched Rune Gypsy that it now hanging on a wall in mom's house. Soon this too will be framed and hanged on a wall of Carol's new apartment :)

Después de 5 meses de bordar en Olivia's Orchard ("el huerto de Olivia"), mi hermana Carol lo teminó el miércoles. Antes de comenzar este proyecto, ella no habia dejado a un lado el bordado por casi un año! Pero no fue que ver los diseños de Hannah Disney en la página web que HAED que nuevamente sintio la necesidad de bordar :) Este no es el primer diseño de HAED que termina, en el 2006 bordó Rune Gypsy que ahora esta colgado en casa de mamá. Este será pronto enmarcado y colgado en el nuevo depa de Carol :)

Snowman Ornie

Here's a snowman ornament I finished stitching last night. It's a design from a Dimension kit and my June ornament for the 2009 Christmas Challenge blog. I did not know what to stitch for this month's ornament until Carol reminded me about this kit. I'm going to stitch two more designs from this kit and do the finishing of all three at once, so this one will be put away for a couple of month until I stitch the other two.

It's a holiday here in Peru and I plan to spend all day stitching :)

Anoche terminé de bordar este adorno de un hombre de nieve. Es un diseño de un kit de Dimension y mi addorno correspondiente al mes de junio para el blog 2009 Christmas Challenge. No sabía que bordar para el adorno de este mes hasta que Carol me recordó que tenia este kit. Voy a bordar 2 diseños más de este kit y haré el acabado de los tres al mismo tiempo así que este de aca tendrá que esperar un para de meses para ser acabado-acabado.

Es un día feriado aca en Perú y planeo bordar tooodo el día :)

The Guardian ~ progress

I have not stitched much this week as I've been getting home from work around 9.30pm and too tired to even consider stitching. But yesterday and today I've worked on The Guardian and think I might be able to finish it by the end of the month :)

Esta semana no he bordado mucho pues casi todos los días he llegado alrededor de las9.30pm del trabajo y demasiado cansada para siquiera pensar en bordar. Pero ayer y hoy he estado avanzando The Guardian, y creo que hay muchas posibilidades que pueda terminarlo a fin de mes :)

It was the freebie SAL weekend in HAED's bb so I worked on QS Dark Cherry. The SAL runs Friday thru Monday and I've stitched a LOT during those days :) I hoped to finish page 2 but that didn't happen; still I'm very pleased with my progress and stitched a total of 2,847 stitches (yes, I counted them :P) and I'm 41,6% done with this piece. Here's a before and after picture...

Este fin de semana fue el freebie SAL en el foro de HAED así que me toco bordar nuevamente QS Dark Cherry. El SAL va de viernes a lunes y durante esos días he bordado un muchísimo :) Quería terminar la pagina 2 pero nop...no pude; igual estoy muy contenta con el avance que logré. Conté el total de punto que hice durante el SAL (que aburrida, no? :P) y complete 2,847 puntos, ya avance un 41,6% de este diseño. Aquí les muestro una foto del antes y después...

I've stitched two more block on Boo! Club. I noticed that the frog on Eek! block was charted to have a mouth/smile but it was not stitched on the models that appear on the chart. I did stitch the mouth on my frog as I thought that without it the tongue would look kind of weird just hanging on one side.

I've also been stitching a bit more on The Guardian, I can finally see the end of it. I don't think I'll be able to finish it in time for Father's Day but that's ok, I just want to finish it and give it to my dad who has been patiently waiting for more than 2 years for it ;) I'll stitch a little bit more on it and then I'll show you a pic :)

He terminado de bordar 2 bloques mas en Boo! Club. Note que en el bloque de la rana, la boca de esta no aparecía bordada en la foto del diseño pero sí en el diseño, así que nada la borde nomas porque si no la lengua de la rana se iba a ver rara, como flotando a un lado.

He avanzado un poco mas en The Guardian, ya por fin veo que el final se acerca aunque no creo que a tiempo para el 21 (día del padre) pero no ya eso no me importa solo poder terminarlo y con mi papa :) . Voy a avanzar un poco mas y luego les enseño una foto ;)

Ann: A tent stitch is a half cross-stitch. Here is a link that explains it very well. I use the railroading cross stitch technique, I guess that's why my stitches lie the way they do :)

New wip and a gift arrived

As mentioned in my previous post, I started a new HAED. I have completed the first 10hrs on it and I have finished almost all the white stitches in page 1. I'm doing it on 32ct Jobelan, 1 over 1 ~ tent stitch and using the "parking method" for the first time. I've seen Carol use it on her HAEDs so I decided to give it a try, so far so good :)

Como les comenté en mi post anterior, comencé un nuevo HAED. Ya completé un total de 10 horas en él y he bordado ya casi todo lo que va en blanco de la página 1. Lo estoy realizando en 32ct Jobelan, 1 sobre 1 ~medio punto y estoy usando el "método de parqueo de hilos por primera vez. He visto a Carol usarlo cuando borda HAEDs así que decidí probarlo, hasta ahora todo va bien :)

Today I heard from Anna S., the birthday gift I sent her had arrived :) . I read in her blog that she liked pink and saw in her wishlist some LHN designs so I decided to make this little pillow using a design from Little House Needleworks, Rose Sampler. I received this chart as part of my birthday gift from Mary last year and thought this would be a perfect opportunity to stitch it :) I think it turned out lovely and I'm happy that Anna likes it :)

Hoy Anna S. me escribio para decirme que había recibbido el regalo de cumpleaños que le había enviado :) Leí en su blog que le gustaba el color rosa y ví en su "wishlist" varios diseños de LHN, así que decidí hacerle una pequeña almohada usando un diseño de Little House Needleworks llamado Rose Sampler. Recibí este chart de Mary como parte de mi regalo de cumpleaños el año pasado y me pareció que esta era la oportunidad perfecta para bordarlo :) Me parece que quedó lindo y me agrada saber que a Anna S. le gustó :)

AfterI finished QS Tag Alongs, I made my oldest wip, The Guardian, my focus piece :P . I'm really happy with the progress I made this month :) After I finish it, I'll have to check carefully if I've not let any whole because I've been jumping all over the place in this design and I've left a lot of single stitches unstitched :S

Después que terminé QS Tag Alongs, puse como proyecto objetivo: The Guardian :P . Estoy muy contenta con el avance que he tenido este mes :) Después que termine de bordarlo debere revisar cuidadosamente si no he dejado algún puntito sin bordar, ya que estado saltando por todas partes en esete bordado y ya he podido ver que tengo varias areas en las que solo me falta una sola puntada :S

I'm all set to start another HAED; this time I chose a full size design not a quick stitch. It's an artwork by Zindy Nielsen and the chart has 15 pages in total. I'm stitching it on a hand-dyed fabric because the design has a lot of off-white stitches (tons of it!) and I think it would be a nightmare to stitch white on white fabric. Well I'm off to iron my fabric and start stitching!!!...Happy Sunday!

Estoy lista para empezar un nuevo HAED; esta vez no haré un "quickstitch" sino un diseño mucho mas grande. El arte es de Zindy Nielsen y el gráfico consta de 15 páginas. Lo haré sobre una tela teñida ya que este diseño tiene muchísimo blanco y creo que me resultaria una pesadilla bordar blanco sobre blanco,. Bueno me voy a planchar mi tela para poder empezar a bordar!! .... Feliz domingo!

Sunday stitching

Yesterday I stitched on Halloween Fairy, I had not touch her since January!! I finished the beading and backstitch on the fairy, then move on to do the vines but ran out of the green Kreinik :(

I'm not going to stitch tha owl that's sitting on one of the fairy's arms so the only stitching that's left to do is the moon, a few vines and webs in the botton...guess next time this comes up in my rotation I'll have a happy dance :)

Ayer avance Halloween Fairy, que no había tocado desde enero!! Termine el hada con todas sus mostacillas y pespunte, me quede corta de uno de los Kreiniks por lo que no pude terminar las ramitas de la parte inferior :(

No pienso bordar el búho que descansa en uno de los brazos del hada, asi que solo me falta la luna y algunas ramitas para ya terminarla...supongo que a próxima vez que me toque trabajar en este proyecto en mi rotación sera para terminarlo :)

This week after finishing Tag Alongs, I wanted to stitch on something quick and easy so I picked up Boo club and have finished two more blocks. I'm stitching this 32ct Dirty Belfast linen with the recommended threads.

Esta semana despues de terminar Tag Alongs, queria bordar algo rapidito y facil asi que retome el bordado en Boo club y he terminado dos bloques mas. Lo estoy bordando en 32ct Dirty Belfast Linen con los hilos recomendados.

The past weekend was the freebie SAL in HAED bb, so I picked up Dark Cherry again. This time because it was Mother's Day weekend I didn't stitch much but still made a little bit of progress :)

El fin de semana pasado fue el freebie SAL en el foro de HAED, así que de nuevo avance un poco en Dark Cherry. Como justo coincidió con el fin de semana del día de la madre no pude bordar mucho pero igual avance un poquito :)

And finally, here is Carol's progress on Olivia's Orchard. She's already 50% done with her!!! Love the colors in this design and the mermaid's face is so cute :)

On Thursday I finished my first HAED, QS Tag Alongs!!! It took me a little over 4 month and a total of 166 hours of stitching (yes, I counted them :P). Definitely there will be more HAEDs in the future...in fact, Ialready chose the next one :)

QS Tag Alongs is a gift for my sister Carol, she just bought a new apartment and this is my little contribution so her wall won't be bare when she moves in August :)

El jueves terminé mi primer HAED, Tag Alongs!! Me tomó un poco más de 4 meses y un total de 166 horas de bordado (si, las conté :P). Definitivamente habrán más bordados de HAED en mi futuro... es más, ya elegí el siguiente :)

QS Tag Alongs es un regalo para mi hermana Carol, quien se compro hace poco un departamento y bueno esta es mi pequeña contribucion para que sus paredes no esten vacias cuando se mude en agosto :)

Last night I finished my May ornament for 2009 Christmas Challenge blog. This time I chose a design by Shepherd's Bush that came in JCS Chrsitmas Issue 2008 magazine. It's stitched on a 28ct Lugana with DMC threads and I used Mill Hills beads for the border.

The Guardian ~ progress

I didn't stitch much this week, as I started going to the gym again after more than 2 years and was too tired to stitch when I got home ... last night I even went to bed at 8.30pm!!!

Remember a couple of weeks ago I said I'd take The Guardian to work and see if I can put a few stitches during my breaks...well here's my progress so far. Not bad, right?

No he bordado mucho esta semana, he comenzado a ir al gimnasio después de mas de 2 años y cuando llegaba a casa estaba muy cansada como para bordar ... ayer incluso me fui a la cama a las 8.30pm!!!

Recuerdan que hace un para de semana les mencione que llevaría The Guardian al trabajo para poder avanzar en mis ratos libres ... pues así esta ahora. Nada mal, verdad?

Tag Along ~ progress

This will be the last time I show you a progress pic of Tag Alongs...next time you see this, it will be finished *fingers crossed*. I'm now 80% done with her, to keep my interesti this piece I'm leaving her face to stitch in the end as I really want to see how it stitches up :)

Esta sera la última vez que les enseñe una foto de Tag Alongs mientras esta en progreso, la próxima vez que lo vean será cuando este terminado...espero :) Ya esta en un 80% terminado; estoy dejando la cara para el final así mantengo mi interes en este proyecto ya que me muero de ganas de ver cómo queda una vez bordada :)

HAED SAL and model

This past weekend was HAED's freebie SAL, again I picked up QS Dark Cherry and I think I made great progress :) I finally finished page 1 and made a good start on page 2. It took me a whole day to stitch the last 500 stitches of page 1, there was a LOT of "confetti" stitches!!! Here's a pic of how I left it last month.

El fin de semana pasado se llevo a cabo el SAL del foro HAED, una vez mas avance en QS Dark Cherry y tuve un muy buen progreso :) Finalmente termine la pagina 1 y tuve un buen comienzo en la 2. Me llevo todo un dia terminar las ultimas 500 puntadas de la primera pagina, habian muchisimas puntadas "confetti" (una puntada de un color por aqui, una de otro color por mas alla), pero estaba decidida a terminar la pagina 1 este fin de semana y lo logre! Aqui pueden ver una foto de como lo deje el mes pasado.

Two year wip

The Guardian has been a work in progress for a little over 2 years now :S ; it's not that it is too big or difficult is just that I get distracted by other designs that I find more fun to stitch.

Things are slow at work this week so I've decided to take it to my office and see if I can put some stitches in it.

You might be wondering why I have that big hole unstitched in the left, well...I made a boo-boo back in July but I'm too lazy to "frog" it so I'm leaving it to the end :P

The Guardian ha sido una labor en progreso por un poco más de dos años; no es que sea una muy grande o complicada simplemente es que siempre encuentro alguna otra labor que me gusta más y entonces me distraigo.

Las cosas estan medio lentas en el trabajo así que me lo voy a llevar a la oficina... a ver si logro avanzar un poquito.

Tal vez alguno se este preguntando por qué tengo esa area en la izquierda sin bordar...pues en julio cometí un error en la ubicacioón de algunas puntadas y tengo que desbaratarlas, pero como me da pereza estoy dejando eso para el final :P

I'm working on my HAED mermaid, Tag Alongs. So this time to not bore you with another update of her, I'll share a pic of Carol's mermaid, Olivia :). The last time I showed it to you she had finished stitching all the black on the first two pages, she's now filling in all the blank spaces. I love the colors in this design :)

Estoy avanzando el bordado en la sirena con los pingûinitos, por lo que para no aburrirlos de nuevo con una de mi avance, esta vez le voy a enseñar una foto del avance de Carol en su sirena. La ultima vez que se las enseñe habia terminado de bordar todo los que iba con negro en las dos primeras paginas, ahora esta rellenando todos los espacios. Me gustan mucho los colores en este diseño :)

Sorry for the dark picture but I wanted to share my progress on Tag Along before I go to bed. I'm now working on the last two pages of this design :) ...can't wait to start stitching her lovely face :)

Been sick again this week *sigh*, so I have not stitched much this week...this weekend my plan is to finish a model and then pick up again this piece as I'm enjoying working on it a lot!!!

Perdón por la fototan oscura pero quería enseñarles mi avance en Tag Alongs antes de irme a la cama. Estoy ya en las dos últimas páginas de este diseño :) ... no puedo esperar a bordar la carita de la sirena :)

He estado enferma de nuevo esta semana :S por lo que no he podido bordar mucho ... mi plan este fin de semana es terminar un modelo que tengo pendiente y luego continuar con la sirena ya que estoy disfrutando mucho bordar en ella!!

March's Xmas Ornie

On Friday evening I finished stitching my Christmas ornament for March. And yesterday while watching a movie I did the finishing. The design is a freebie by Stitchy Kitty , it is stitched on 32ct lugana with the recommended DMC threads except a red that was called for the border but I replaced it with the light pink I used in the penguin's hat. It is stitched two over two except the white on the penguin that was done one over two as I think my stitches look more nice and even this way. Don't you think this little penguin is super cute :)

El viernes terminé de bordar mi adorno de navidad para diciembre; y ayer mientras veía una peli le dí el acabado. El diseño es un gráfico gratid de Stitchy Kitty que bordé en 32ct lugana con los hilos DMC recomendados, excepto uno rojo que se usaba en el borde y que reemplacé por el rosa claro que había usado en el gorro del pingüino. Esta bordado dos sobre dos excepto la parte blanca del pingüino que la hice uno sobre dos ya que creo que mis puntadas se ven mucho más parejas así. No les parece adorable el pingüinito :)

Almost two weeks since my last post...

I caught a stomach bug a couple weeks ago and after I recover from that I went into a stitching slump :( , didn't stitch at all for a week or so which is rare in me. But this past weekend was HAED's freebie SAL so I picked up my needle again and almost finished page 1 of QS Dark Cherry. I wanted to finish this page during this month's SAL as page 2 has already been sent to all of us that signed up for this SAL but that didn't happen....too much "confetti stitches".

Now that I got my stitching mojo back, I'll stitch this month's Christmas ornie. I've already decided what I'm going to stitch so hopefully by the end of the week I'll show you a picture of it finished :)

No he publicado nada desde hace casi dos semana pues estuve enferma, agarre algun bicho y me enferme del estomago y una vez que me recupere pues no tenia ningun deseo de bordar :( , no borde absolutamente nada por una semana más o menos lo cual es poco usual en mi. Pero el pasado fin de semana fue el freebie SAL en el foro de HAED así que nuevamente agarre mi aguja y ya casi termino la primera página de QS Dark Cherry. Mi intención era terminar esta página durante el SAL de este mes pero no se pudo... mucho cambio de color ("confetti").

Ahora que ya mis deseos de bordar han regresado mi siguiente labor será realizar el adorno de Navidad del mes. Ya tengo elegido que diseño voy a realizar, espero poder mostrarles un foto de este ya terminado para el final de la semana :)

When I was sick I received a lovely suprise in the mail. It was a package from Karen in Australia and inside was a cute snowman pinkeep that she made for me for the SBEBB Frosty Friends exchange. She also added some nice extras...floss, a moon chart and notepad. THANK YOU KAREN!

Mientras estaba enferma el cartero me visito y me trajo un paquete de Karen en Australia. El sobre contenía el último intercambio del foro SBEBB; Karen me hizo un lindo pinkeep de un hombre de nieve y tambien incluyo hilos, un gráfico y un block de notas.

I've added a new wip to my rotation, Boo! Club by Lizzie*Kate. I signed up to an auto-shipping program of this series as soon as I saw a pic of it and decided that I needed to start it now if I wanted to have it finished in time for Halloween :) Last night I stitched the first word ~ Spooky.

He agregado una nueva labor a mi rotación, Boo! Club de Lizzie*Kate. Apenas vi una foto de esta serie en internet me anoté a una tienda para que me envien los gráficos a medida que salen a la venta. Lo he comezado ahorita de lo contrario no lo terminaré a timpo para Halloween. Anoche terminé la primera palabra, Spooky!
