SBEBB Feathered Friends exchange for Edgar

I just heard from Edgar that he got the package I sent him for the SBEBB Feathered Friends exchange. I had a really hard time trying to decide what I wanted to stitch for him, I know he really likes quaker designs but I couldn't find anything quaker related in my stash so I searched and searched and searched online for a bird design I thought might appeal to him and found this freebie by French designer Anne R. from Tournicoton called "Petit Points". I stitched it on 36ct White Edinbourgh Linen one over two with a hand- dyed thread that Aniza generously sent me a few month ago (it's hand dyed by Aniza) and finished it as a pinkeep. The fabric you see in the picture below is the one I used for the back, I think it goes perfect with the color of thread and ribbons I used :) ...I'm so glad Edgar likes it!

Design: Petit Points by Anne R. from Tournicoton (freebie)
Stitched on 36ct White Edinbourgh Linen with Aniza's hand-dyed threads
Stitch count: 94h x 48w
Started: 12. April. 2008
Finished: 19. April. 2008

Carla, this is absolutely beautiful!!!
I was thinking to stitch this with red thread, but I definitely will try to stitch with over dyed thread, like you!
It's so stunning, and I'm sure Edgar will treasure it for a long time!
