Hi there :)

Finally have some time to update my blog, I've been super busy at work so no time for blogging and very little time for stitching :(

First of all I wanted to thank everyone for your birthday wishes for me and my sister :) Here is a pic of us with our brother Daniel on our birthday (I'm the one on the left and Carol's on the right with curly hair)

And here's a pic of Living with Charm, this as you might remember was my birthday gift for Carol. I chose a very simple frame for it and really like how it came out.

This week I received two exchanges...
From Leena in Finland I received two gorgeous biscornus for the SBEBB Biscornu exchange! Thank you Leena :)

Esta semana recibí 2 intercambios...
De Leena en Finlandia recibí 2 hermosos biscornus!!!

And from Terry a lovely needleroll for the HoE Needleroll exchange! Thanks Terry :) !!

Y de Terry recibí un lindo needleroll!!

On Friday, Linda let me know she received the biscornu I sent her for the SBEBB exchange. Linda has made lots of beautiful biscornus so I was a little bit nervious when I got her name for this exchange...Linda says she likes it so that is great news :) !! The design is a freebie from My Aunt's Attic and it's stitched on Dark Chocolate Belfast Linen with a hand dyed thread by fellow stitcher Aniza

Design: Freebie from Tantes Zolder (My Aunt's Attic)
Stitched on 32ct Dark Chocolate Belfast Linen with a hand-dyed thread by Aniza
Stitch count: 69h x 69w
Started: 13. July. 2008
Finished: 30. July. 2008

August was not a great month for my stitching goals, I just didn't have a lot of free time and when I did I was too tired to stitch :(
1. Mail out the SBEBB Biscornu exchange ~ Yes!!
2. Stitch and finish a needleroll for the HoE Needleroll exchange ~ I stitched it on August but finished it as a needleroll on Sept 1st.
...so I guess it's a: Nope!
3. Finish and take to the framer L*K's Living with Charm ~ Yes!
4. Stitch at least 15 hours on The Guardian ~ Nope! Didn't pick it up at all!!
5. Start a Halloween design ~ Started 2 projects and finished one of them, Spooky Sheep
6. Stitch and finish a scissor for the Monthly Finishing Challenge blog ~ Nope!

And I also finished a secret project this month :)

3. Terminar y llevar a enmarcar "Living with Charm" de Lizzie Kate ~ Si!
4. Bordar al menos 15 horas en The Guardian ~ Nop! No lo toque para nada!

Hopefully on September I won't be too busy or tired...so here are my goals for this month :)
1. Mail out the HoE Needleroll Exchange ~
Yes!!
2. Stitch at least 15 hours on The Guardian
3. Start L*K's Christmas Spirit and stitch the 4 first blocks
4. Work on Halloween Fairy
5. Stitch and finish Hallowscornu

6. Update my blog at least once a week ;)

Sip!!
2. Bordar al menos 15 horas en The Guardian

Hi! I love your stitching! My friend and I have looked and looked at the website to find the pattern for your biscornu you made. (the brown one) We are either missing it completely, or I've lost my mind! Can you give me a direct link to the pattern? Thanks Sara

Love the way you have framed Living with Charm, what a great gift!

And I never knew you were a twin. How neat is that? My friend just had twin girls, they are soooo freakin cute.

The brown biscornu is neat, great color of fabric.

I'm new to your blog after seeing your biscornu on the Collection of Smalls and Freebie Gallery blogs - and just had to visit. That is the most exquisite biscornu I've seen online for a while ... it takes my breath away! It's also given me some good ideas for some darker fabrics that I've been wondering what the heck to do with, thanks :D Your other stitching is beautiful too :)

So many lovely pictures!! I especially liked the picture of you and your family. And I really want to tell you how much I love the colors you chose for Linda's biscornu. I would be nervous stitching for her, too, but you did a marvelous job. Congratulations. :o)
