Weekend stitching

My part
As mentioned in my previous post, last weekend was the IHSW. I didn't get to stitch as much as I wanted, but still managed to finish my main goal for the weekend that was finishing my page for Chelsea's project. As I said when I started stitching this page almost a year ago a young stitcher died of complications from a lung and heart transplant. After hearing the news, a group of 20 stitchers joined to stitch this beautiful mermaid for Chelsea's mom. I got to stitch page 12 and I'll be sending it to Canada were it will be sewn with the rest of the blocks.

Como mencioné en mi entrada anterior, el fin de semana pasado fue el IHSW. No pude bordar tanto como me hubiera gustado, pero igual logré mi objetivo del fin de semana que era terminar mi página en el proyecto para Chelsea. Como dije cuando empecé a bordar la página, hace ya casi un año un bordadora murio de complicaciones de un transplante de corazon y pulmones. Después de enterarnos de la noticia, un grupo de 20 bordadoras nos unimos para hacer esta linda sirena para la mamá de Chelsea. A mi me tocó hacer la página 12 y la estaré enviando a Canada para que sea unida con el resto de los bloques.

Congrats on your finish! It looks good. The colors are very vibrant. Please post a picture of the design when it is finally finished by all the stitchers.

Your page for Chelsea's project is just beautiful...I love all the rainbows of colors on the tail! I can see all of them in your TUSAL!
