SBEBB Feathered Friends exchange for Edgar

I just heard from Edgar that he got the package I sent him for the SBEBB Feathered Friends exchange. I had a really hard time trying to decide what I wanted to stitch for him, I know he really likes quaker designs but I couldn't find anything quaker related in my stash so I searched and searched and searched online for a bird design I thought might appeal to him and found this freebie by French designer Anne R. from Tournicoton called "Petit Points". I stitched it on 36ct White Edinbourgh Linen one over two with a hand- dyed thread that Aniza generously sent me a few month ago (it's hand dyed by Aniza) and finished it as a pinkeep. The fabric you see in the picture below is the one I used for the back, I think it goes perfect with the color of thread and ribbons I used :) ...I'm so glad Edgar likes it!

Thanks and some progress

First of all, Carol asked me to thank you all for the sweet comments you left about her pillow :) ...so THANK YOU!! I hope that all your encouragement makes her want to stitch something new soon :)

I've been super busy lately, so I have not made a lot of progress on my wips. I did finish an exchange I mail out last week hopefully it will arrive to my partner soon so I can share a photo of it :)
This week I worked on L*K's Living with Charm series, I stitched Listen in just one evening so decided to go ahead and stitch Learn this month too...here's a pic of both :)

My sister's stitching

Hi there :) !! Today I'm showing you Carol's recent finish...she hasn't stitch anything for almost two years, so I was pleasantly surprised when she told me to help her choose a design that she could stitch and finish quickly. The first thing that came to my mind was this design by Barbara Ana called "Happy Moood!". We didn't have some of the colors the design called for, so she made some changes...the cow's hat is stitched with WDW-Mermaid and the letters with ThreadworX 1154-Bradley's Balloons and as she doesn't like to stitch with DMC-White she changed it to WDW-Whitewash. She finish it in just a few days and look she even hand sewed it as a pillow, her first one...I think. Great job Carol!!!!

Holas :) !!!

Bee-scornu ;)

When I read that the challenge for this month on the Monthly Finishing Challenge blog was to make a biscornu I knew what design I wanted to stitch/finish for it . I've been wanting to make this biscornu ever since I saw it on Carol's blog...I just fell in love with it . It's a free design by Barbara Ana called Buzzing Around Biscornu that can be found at Cyberstitchers website; mine is stitched on 28ct Baby Blue Lugana with DMC and I added a JABC flower button in the center of the biscornu. Now that I've finished this one I want to stitch all the biscornu designs that Barbara Ana has released so far... they're just too cute
