Baby gift...
This week I worked on a baby bib. It's a gift for one of my childhood friends. His aunt is going to visit him, so I decided to send this small gift for his new baby. I hope he likes it. I chose this small design since I had to have it done it 3 days. I started it on monday and finished it yesterday. It's was a small fun project to do.
I'ts a design from an ASN book 50 tiny teddies, and I added some extra things, like the birdhouse, lettering and the extra birds.

Baby afghan update...
It's been a while since my last update. The two past weeks have been very busy, with my brother's wedding and getting our new business ready for opening next week. But still I have done some stitching during the evenings.
This is a really fun project to stitch... no confetti stitches!!... which is a nice change from my HAED piece (haven't pick that one up in a long time)
I have also learn to do some machine embroidery in the past month...I love it!! it's really fun to do, and my teacher has a lot of patience which is nice.

A new WIP
Two weeks ago I had the most wonderful surprise. A friend who knew I was looking for a design to stitch for my brother's future baby, sent me the most beautiful chart.
It is actually a used kit. So I decided to stitch it on an afghan I bought I few months ago, and use DMC threads. I decided not to use the left over threads because there is not enough left and I might run out of a color .
This is my progress so far....I'm having a blast. I haven't stitched on my HAED piece in more than 10 days so might pick it up again this week so she doesn't feel neglected.
