I dyed the fabric myself...I was supposed to be a light brown but it turn out pink...I have no idea what happened (hehehe)

I'm finally online again ºÜº !!!! I had to go away for some time because of personal problems ... But I'm back online again!

I won't finish Roadster Santa in time for Christmas :0( ... Next year I'll try to make a rotation and begin my Christmas stitching on July that way I'll be able t get them done on time.

Carol (my sister) recently finished this lovely stocking by Dimensions called Santa & Snowman...She added beads instead of French knots for the snow...

this is a wall hanging she made for Cristina (the daughter of childhood friend)

Distractions

Do you find that having another distraction (music, movies, people to talk to) while stitching helps you make progress or make mistakes?

I MUST have a a distraction in order to make progress on my stitching, specially TV. While I'm stitching I usually watch sitcoms, news it really doesn't matter it's just that I like to have some noise in the background

This weekend I was not in the mood at all for stitching. I kept putting my project on a hoop and stare at it for an hour or so and then put it away (sigh)...But I still manage to stitch a little bit on Sunday night and yesterday and here is my progress so far....

This year I decided to make a few Christmas cards, so here's the first design I've stitched a cute little penguin...it was a nice break from my current project :0P

My goal for this weekend is to get at least half of Roadster Santa done...this would be a gift for my mom and she usually begins decorating for Christmas the first week of December so by then this project has to be already framed

Finally Wish on a Star is finished!!!

I just finished my cute Country Companiosn project.. I'm so happy... I love the way it look...really bright colors Ü. My next project will ne Roadster Santa by Dimensions ...hopefully I'll finish it in time for Christmas

Thread Organization

Thread organization: plastic bobbins, yes or no? How do you organize your threads?

I have all my threads in plastic bobbins, stored in 2 large plastic boxes, one for DMC and the other for Anchor. I once tried Stitch Bows, but they didn't work out for me, I totally hated them.
