New finish

These cute guys are finished…I love the color of this project, they are much brighter IRL; I think I’ll finish it as a pillow.
By the way this one was not for my father, I think I didn’t express myself correctly.

This week I got my WOCS, the same week that in the UK they get the next issue, well at least I got it, right?
In this issue I found the perfect project for my dad’s birthday Wordsworth (by Anchor)…I think I can get it done by Monday at least I hope I can.

New WIP

I had to start a new project this week; Roadster Santa will be put away for a couple of weeks because I get frustrated every time I stitch with those metallic threads.
I have also realized that my dad’s birthday is next week :0S … this year I wanted to stitch something for him but I don’t have a lot of time so I’ll have to choose something simple but nice….

Here is my progress picture of Roadster Santa at 245hrs.
This is the second time I use metallic threads and they are a nightmare…I read somewhere that Thread Heaven worked really well with metallic so I order one today to try it.

Ok, you can tell I love bears, right? All my finishes of 2005 have a bear on it. *grin*
I know I wrote that I wasn’t going to start a new project until I finished R.S., but I couldn’t resist this one, his name is Popcorn (Designer Stitches)
