For Kathy...
I'm using half stitches. 2 over 1 on a 22 ct evenweave. I believe I'm getting pretty good coverage, you can only see the fabric in those sections with dark shades. If you don't want this to happen you can probably try a fabric with a higher count, maye 25ct or 28.ct

WIP: Rune Gypsy
This was kind of a slow week for me. I didn't stitch at all during the first few days of the week. I had a cold...again!!. I don't know what has happened to me this year. I'm not the kind of person that gets sick very often. But this year I've had the flu twice and a couple of colds, which doesn't help that much with my asthma. I hate being sick but even more I hate being sick during the summer...when it's HOT!!!
Once I felt better, I started stitching again. I'm back at working page by page. Anyway, this is my progress for last week.

8 pages are done!!
I've completed 55% of the design. You can see all her face now...I think she looks great! (if you don't mind me saying so). I don't think I'll have to do any backstitch on her face, since it stands out from the background just fine.
This pages went by very fast, because the face is mainly one solid block of color. So that was great.
The only thing that I don't enjoy when stitching this piece is when I reach the last few columns of the right. It takes so much time to complete that small section because of all the color changes. But all that hard work is so worth it once it's finished. All those shades just add so much to the whole design.
