Another mermaid :)

I'm enjoying so much stitching on HAED's Tag Alongs that I decided to sign up for HAED's 2009 SAL :P We had to choose between 4 quick stitch freebies and we will be SALing every second weekend of the month. My choice was Dark Cherry (artwork by Ching-Chou Kuik) and will only be stitching her during the SAL weekends so I hope that's enough to finish her by the end of the year. This weekend was the first SAL and I think I made a great start, I actually counted the number of stitches and I made... 3,154 stitch that's about 9.6% of the design!! It's stitched 1 over 1 (full crosses) on 25ct Antique White Jobelan and as I hate stitching with Kreinik so I'm substituting it with HDF B5200 silk.

Estoy disfrutando tanto mi bordado de Tag Alongs de HAED que decidi apuntarme a su SAL 2009. Tenia la opcion de elegir entre cuatro diseños y se va a hacer un SAL del bordado cada segunda fin de semana del mes. Yo elegi hacer Dark Cherry (arte de Ching-Chou Kuik) y solo bordare en ella los fines de semana del SAL asi que espero que sea suficiente para poder terminarla a fin de año. Este fin de semana fue el primer SAL y creo que he tenido un buen comienzo, he contado el numero de puntadas que he hecho y en total han sido 3,154 que es mas o menos 9.6% del diseño! Lo estoy realizando 1 sobre 1 en 25ct Antique White Jobelan y como detesto bordar con Kreinik lo estoy reemplando por hilo de seda B5200 de Vicki Clayton
