This is my progress at 11 hours on Feather Fairy, I love how is coming along, too bad that I don't have time to stitch every day ... it will be a loooong WIP

WIP: Secrets

This is a lovely design of Lottie and her friend that came in a Cross Stitcher magazine...I just love these cute charaters...I hope to finish them soon and I'll probably frame them and hang them on my bedroom cause it reminds me of Carol and me

New WIP: Crystal Christmas

This my progress after 21hrs. I'm stitching this in Silkweaver's 28ct Powder Puff Jazlyn....it's a huge project. I hope can have it finish in time for THIS Christmas. I've seen that people does this in 2 or 3 years, but because this will be my main project I think I can finish it in about 5months.

When I first saw the fabric, once I got my package...I was so dissapointed...the color was not at all like the one shown on Silkweaver's website...it was a lot lighter. But because I had no other choice, since I don't have any other fabric to fit this design, I just had to use it....But now after several days, it has grown on me, and now I think the color is just right since it's a winter theme. (this photo is kind of dark so the fabric in real life is not at all like the one you're seeing. )

I wanted to kill myself yesterday!!!

This past weekend I started a new project, Mirabilia's Crystal Christmas (hoping to have it done in time for christmas).I had stitched for about 10hrs when suddenly...I realized that I'd made a big mistake. I'd stitched the bottom part of one of the angel's dress with the wrong color. I had to frog 4hrs worth of stitching...I was so mad with myself. I was about to leave it like that, but Carla told me that wasn't such a great idea. I'll try to be more carefull from now on.

Finished!!!!

I'm so happy right, I just finished Enchanted Alphabet (about 20 minutes go). I love stitching this design, I've wanted to do so for a long time. Now I've finally done it. To complete the design I need to buy a ribbon, so I'll have to go to my local shop.

It took me 2 1/2 weeks to complete it, I don't really keep track of the hours, but I estimate that about 75 hours. I'm not working right now, so I do stitch a lot these days.

WIP: Enchanted Alphabet

This is my progress so far in this L&L chart. I'm actually amazed on how fast it's coming along, I believe it's because the letters are really fast to stitch.

I did some changes on the child's hair. I used the colors specified on the charts, but because I'm using a yellowish fabric I thought the light blond hair would get lost, so decided to do it just a bit darker by blending.

One of my childhood friends has just started to stitch, she's very excited about it. She's stitching a Strawberry Shortcake for her baby daughter. I've been kind of guiding her by our chats on meesenger, because we don't live in the same city right now. She's gonna send me some photos of her progress and as soon as she does, I'll be sharing them with you guys.

Someone to look up to

A few weeks after finishing this project, I've finally framed it. This time I decided to buy a frame and put it all together by myself. I really love this frame I think it goes really well with the design. This will my dad's gift for father's day (I hope he doesn't read this)

WIP: Enchanted Alphabet

After a week of stitching, this is my progress. I'm now working on the child's dress. I've always had a hard time stitching with white thread, because I believe the crosses don't seem regular. But so far the look fine.

Even though I've only worked on this piece for a week I think I've made a lot of progress, .... Carla wanted me to finish it this weekend....but that is just impossible.Not a chance!!!

Feather Fairy

After almost 6 hours of stitching, this is my progress on Feather Fairy by Mirabilia . This is my first time working on Lugana...I'm finding it quite difficult ...hopefully I'll be able to stitch a little bit more tonight and tomorrow night and if I make some progress I'll post a picture during the week.
After seeing Mandy's progress, I 've realized that I'm a very sloooooow stitcher.

Stash

Today I recieved some new stash.... While stitching Petal Fairy, and finding out the Mirabilia patterns weren't as difficult as I thought to stitch. I decided to buy two Mirabilia patterns I've always likes: Crystal Christmas and Angel Proclamation. I also bought a chart from "xxx4 my boysxxx: Live-Forgive-Love.

New WIP: Enchanted Alphabet

I started this project this weekend, it's Enchanted Alphabet by Lavender and Lace. I've always liked this design so decided to start it.
I'm stitching it in a handyed 32ct lugana from Silkweaver: Honey Lite. The color of the fabric is not at all like the one shown in the picture..I hope it looks closer to the real one in my next post.

New Finish: Petal Fairy

Finally early on Saturday I finished my Petal Fairy. It actually took me less time that I had thought to complete her. And, it wasn't as difficult as I'd imagined. The last couple of weeks I put a lot of hours into her, I just couldn't wait to see her finished. Everyone a home is totally in love with this cutie. My mom can't stop saying how much she likes her, even my older brother has said nice things about her (this has never happened before)....and my sister was so jealous, she started with her Feather Fairy right away. She has actually done a little progress on her, but it would probably take a long time to complete her, because she's doing an MBA, and has absolutly no free time....she even has to go to school on Sundays!!!
