Paix

I started stitching this piece last year, but ran out of green floss to finish the border so I couldn't finish it then. I thought about frogging the green I already had stitched and replacing it with another thread but I was almost done with it so decided to wait and buy the right thread even if that ment I wouldn't finish it on time for Christmas.
The design, as you might already know, is by Dianne Williams of Little House Needleworks and was done as a fundraiser of UNICEF. The original was charted with the word peace in French "Paix" but I decided to translated to Spanish. I did not add the French knots for the eyes of the little girls... I like them better without them :)
