2012 WIPocalyse ~ final report and some stats for 2012

At the beginning of 2012, I signed up to participate on Measi's 2012 WIPocalypse.
I set myself to work/finish 13 projects before the world "ended" on December 21. Around June/July I learned to crochet and my stitching suffered a little :P
I only finished 3 of my WIPocalypse projects :S, so I'm joining again next year and hopefully I'll finish a few more ;)
Okay, here are the pics ...

A comienzos del 2012, me anoté para participar en el 2012 WIPocalypse de Measi.
Me puse como objetivos avanzar/terminar 13 proyectos antes del "fin del mundo" el 21 de diciembre. Alrededor de junio/julio aprendí a tejer y eso me distrajo un poco del punto cruz :P
Sólo logré terminar 3 de los proyectos para el WIPocalypse :S, así que voy a unirme otra vez este año y espero terminar algunos más esta vez ;)

Besides the projects I finished from my WIPocalypse list. I also had 5 more finishes in 2012 (you can see them all here), making a total of 8 finishes :)

As mentioned earlier, I learned to crochet last year and I'm really "hooked"! I made several amigurumi, made 2 dresses for my daughter, Minnie Mouse costume and participated in 3 CALs :) !!!

My main goal this year is to distribute my time better between both my crafts, as I do enjoy both of them :)

Aparte de los proyectos que termine de mi lista para el WIPocalypse; terminé otros 5 el 2012 (puedes verlos todos  acá), lo que hace un total de 8 piezas terminadas :)

Como mencioné antes, el año pasado aprendí a tejer a crochet y realmente estoy super "enganchada"! Completé varios amigurumi, hice dos vestidos para mi hija, un disfraz de Minnie Mouse y participé en 3 CALs :)!!!

Mi objetivo principal para este nuevo año será distribuir mejor mi tiempo entre ambos "hobbies", ya que ambos los disfruto muchísimo :)

WIPocalypse ~ November report

I skipped last month's WIPocalypse report, because I didn't make any progress on any of my cross stitch projects. This month I worked a little bit on SK Blue Moon, it's not a lot of progress, but progress nonetheless!

El mes pasado no publiqué mi reporte para el WIPocalypse, pues no tenía nada nuevo que mostrarles de mis proyectos a punto cruz. Este mes he avanzado un poco en SK Blue Moon; no es mucho mi avance pero algo es algo!

WIPocalyse ~ September report

I've not done a lot of cross stitching last month. But I'm happy with what I accomplished; although it looks like SK Blue Moon is almost finished I still have a whole page to stitch; I hope I can finish it by the end of the year.

No he realizado mucho punto cruz el mes pasado. Pero estoy contenta con lo que logré; aunque parezca que esta casi terminado aún me falta una página completa que espero poder terminar en diciembre.

WIPocalypse ~ August report and an amigurumi finish

Last week I've was very lazy; so my report for the WIPocalypse is a little late.

As you can see there has not been a lot of progress on these pieces...but I'm sure next month I'll have a happy dance to share with you :)

Esta semana he estado bastante floja; por lo que mi reporte para el WIPocalypse esta un poco retrasado.

Como pueden ver no hay mucho progreso en estas dos piezas....pero estoy segura que el proximo mes podre enseñarles uno de ellos ya terminado :)

And now my new goals for August:

1. Stitch August's Dessert of the Month ~ Yes!! It was Frozen Yogurt this time :)

2. Finish page  1-2 of SK Blue Moon ~ No :(

3. Finish Christmas Elf Fairy ~ No :((

4. Continue crocheting on my two current wips ~ Yes! And finished one of them and two more pieces that I started during the month.

My new goals for September are:
1. Stitch September's Dessert of the Month
2. Add at least 2,500 stitches to SK Blue Moon
3. Finish Christmas Elf Fairy
4. Work on Scent of Wind (Soda Stitch)
5. Keep crocheting!

Y ahora mis metas para agosto:

1. Bordar el postre del mes de agosto ~ Si!! Esta vez fue Frozen Yogurt :)

2. Terminar las páginas 1-2 de SK Blue Moon ~ No :(

3. Terminar Christmas Elf Fairy ~ Nop :((

4. Continuar con las dos labores a crochet que tengo en progreso ~ Si! Y terminé uno de ellos y dos más que comencé durante el mes.  

Mis nuevas metas para setiembre son:

1. Bordar el postre del mes de setiembre

2. Añadir por lo menos 2,500 puntadas más en SK Blue Moon

3. Terminar Christmas Elf Fairy

4. Avanzar Scent of Wind (Soda Stitch)

5. Seguir "crocheteando"

WIPocalypse report and goals for August

No stitching or crocheting for me this week :( .  I’ve been sick in bed with an acute tonsillitis :(( . I felt terrible and was in a lot of pain even though I took painkillers and antibiotics. I’m not completely recovered yet but the fever is gone and the pain is less.
I had planned to post about my goals and do an update about the wips I’ve worked on for the WIPocalypse on the 1st of the month but that was impossible. But now that I’m better, I’ll share how I did since my last WIPocalypse update. I only worked on these two this month but I'm very happy with my progress specially on SK Blue Moon :)

1. Stitch July's Dessert of the month - Yes! This time it was a Strawberry Shortcake.
2. Add 2,300 stitches on SK Blue Moon - Yes!
3. Finish Christmas Elf Fairy by Mirabilia - Worked on her, but haven't finish her yet
4. Continue working on Scent of Wind - Nope :(
5. Continue working on my first crochet project - Yes! And finished 3 amigurumi this month :)

4. Continuar bordando Scent of Wind - Nop :(
5. Continuar con mi primer proyecto a crochet - Si! Y terminé 3 amigurumi este mes :)

WIPocalypse - July report

I'm late posting my update on my WIPocalypse posting. But here it is finally, since my last update I've worked on 2 pieces. I'm hoping to finish both by the end of the year :)

Estoy un poco retrasada en publicar mi reporte para el WIPocalypse. Pero bueno finalmente aca esta; he estado avanzado estos 2 proyectos. Espero terminar ambos al terminar el año :)

Last week I stitched July's Dessert of the Month ..., it's a stawberry shortcake this time...TOO CUTE!! I changed it's smile (I like them happy  :P)

La semana pasada borde el postre del mes de julio, esta vez fue una torta de fresas...SUPER LINDA! Le cambie la sonrisa (me gusta verlos contentos :P)

WIPocalypse ~ June report

Today is the full moon which means it's time to show you my progress on the WIPocalypse projects I've worked since my last report. I'm very happy with my progress this month, :) I had a happy dance finish and could mark off a second item from my WIPocalypse list!

Hoy es luna llena, lo que significa que debo mostrarles mi avance para el WIPocalypse. Estoy muy contenta con mi progreso desde mi último reporte :), incluso acabe un proyecto y es el segundo que tacho de mi lista para el WIPocalypse!

WIPocalypse ~ May update
