Work in Progress

I've finally started Maria Fernanda's Christmas ornie. Like last year, I'm stitching a design from Brooke's Book (last year I stitched this cute penguin).  My choice this time a one of Brooke's Sweet Treat Angels: Gretel. I haven't done much but hopefully I'll finish it this weekend *fingers crossed* ;) I ordered the chart pack from Brooke's website (great service btw) and it included the beads and perforated papers.

 

Por fin comencé el adorno de navidad para Maria Fernanda. Al igual que el año pasado es un diseño de Brooke's Book (el año pasado hice este tierno pingüino). Esta vez elegí uno de los angeles de Brooke: Gretel. No he avanzado mucho pero espero terminarlo esta semana *cruzemos los dedos* ;) Pedí el patrón directamente de la página de Brooke (por cierto brinda muy buen servicio) y el empaque incluía las mostacillas y papeles perforados.
 

 

 



I'm also making a cute Rudolph with a BIG bright red nose *LOVE* . I'm almost done with him, only have to attach the leg and tail :) I'll show a photo of him finished later this week :)

 

También estoy haciendo un lindo Rodolfo con una GRAN nariz roja *LO ADORO*. Ya esta casi listo sólo me falta unir las piernas y la cola :) Les mostraré una foto de cómo quedo al final de la semana :)

 

First finish of 2012 !

I finally had my first happy dance of 2012! It's a Christmas ornament I started for my daughter last year...my work schedule in December was craaaaazy so I couldn't finish it on time :( 

Oh well, it's ready now and I'm going to start her ornament for this year very soon that way it will be finish on time ;)

As you can see I still have to finish-finish it but I can make up my mind on how I want it so it'll have to think about it a little bit more ?:)

Finalmente tengo mi primer bordado terminado del 2012! Es un adorno de Navidad que empecé para mi gorda el año pasado...pero como tenía muchísimo trabajo en diciembre no lo pude terminar a tiempo :(

Pero bueno, ya es listo y voy a empezar el de este año muy pronto así lo tendré listo a tiempo ;)

Como pueden ver aún no hago el acabado, lo que pasa es que aún no me decidó cómo es que lo quiero terminado, tengo que pensarlo un poco más ?:)

Today starts February's International Stitch & Hermit Weekend.

I'm not sure I'll have a lot of time to stitch but I'll make my best to put some stitches in fabric :) The last couple of days I've been working on SK Blue Moon, so I'll continue with it and show you before and after pic next week :)

Este fin de semana es el ISHW del mes de febrero. No estoy segura si tendre mucho tiempo para bordar pero lo intentaré :)

He estado avanzando en SK Blue Moon los dos últimos días, por lo que continuaré con él y la próxima semana les mostraré fotos :)
