Latest finish...

This is what I've been up the last couple of days....4 My Boys': Live ~ Forgive ~ Love. I've had this chart in my to do list for some time now. I decided to do it, because it was very simple and fast to do. It only took me 10hrs total.
I didn't use the colors listed, since I wanted to use a piece of fabric left from another project, and those colors didn't look well with the fabric.
What's next?...haven't decided yet

Finished!!!

I'm finally done with Crystal Christmas, it took about 250 hrs to complete. Putting all the beads at the end wasn't a great idea... it was very boring... it took me 5 long afternoons to complete...I was about to give up.
But now that I'm finished I'm very happy with the result.

Here are my statistics:

• Start date: June 25
• Finish date: August 12
• Total days stitching: 38
• Working on beads: 05
• Not stitching days: 06

Now I'm not sure what I'll stitch, but it will be something small...that way I'll rest for a while.

At 185hrs

This is my progress so far. I'm almost done with the cross stitching , as you can see. I'm now stitching the last angel. I've loved this project so much that I haven't been able to put it down for more than 2 days...
I'll probably recieve my beads in the next days... I didn't wan't to leave all the beading for the end because I think it will be very boring, but I have no other choice since they haven't arrived in time.
I noticed the other day that I started this project June 25, so I've just been doing it for over a month now.



By the way, this is Carol...I don't know why the post doesn't appear with my name. My poor sister is studying so hard she doesn't have time for stitching these days. She leaves to school at 8.30 am, and doesn't come home until 3 - 5 am the next day. So whenever she has an afternoon off (which only happens once every other week) she just sleeps.

50hrs later.....

I love how this is looking so far...I still can't put it down. Because of all the hours I've been stitching these days, I now have problems in my right shoulder. I broke it when I was a baby, so on and off I have problems with it. I'll probably have to stop stitching for a few days until I feel better.

Stitching with all those Kreiniks has been awful, the #8 braid is so stiff...I hate it. But I love how the final result looks. Other than that I love working on this design...I can't wait to see it finished and framed.

Feather Fairy

This is my progress at 11 hours on Feather Fairy, I love how is coming along, too bad that I don't have time to stitch every day ... it will be a loooong WIP

WIP: Secrets

This is a lovely design of Lottie and her friend that came in a Cross Stitcher magazine...I just love these cute charaters...I hope to finish them soon and I'll probably frame them and hang them on my bedroom cause it reminds me of Carol and me

Feather Fairy

After almost 6 hours of stitching, this is my progress on Feather Fairy by Mirabilia . This is my first time working on Lugana...I'm finding it quite difficult ...hopefully I'll be able to stitch a little bit more tonight and tomorrow night and if I make some progress I'll post a picture during the week.
After seeing Mandy's progress, I 've realized that I'm a very sloooooow stitcher.
