The Guardian @ 20hrs

I've stitched a lot these past couple of days. I finished an exchange, a gift and completed 10 more hours on The Guardian. I can't show you the first two but here is my progress on The Guardian.

This design is not at all my style but as you already know my dad asked me to stitch it for him and I agreed. My goal is to finish it for my father's 60th birthday which is on March 5th...I guess I should pick it up more frequently if I want to meet my goal.

It is a challenge to work on something that isn´t quite your style. You´ve made good progress on The Guardian.

That wolf's face is so realistic. I think it looks great.

It looks great !!! It's true when you stitch something you didn't choose: it's easy to loose the motivation ... Porque te estas hablando en ingles hoy? Estoy loca creo lol !!!

Hi Carla,

The Guardian is magnificent! The detail in this one really does make it look like a photograph. I suspect that once you've finished it you'll consider this project to be one of your best. And your Dad's going to be thrilled!!

The little tin exchange that you received is lovely. And it's stitched in red!! Love red. These tins look like fun to do, but I'm too intimidated to try. I've yet to try any type of finishing for my x-stitch projects. Perhaps that should be my New Years resolution...to try some of the finishing techniques.

Oh, pretty stash. A very nice selection of designs. You're going to have so much fun with all of this. It's always a great day when the postman brings packages from our favourite on line stitching store.

Cheers. Judy

Wonderful to stitch for dad :) It's harder to do things that aren't quite "you", I think.
