WIPs

Didn't have a lot of crafty time since my last update but still managed to make some progress on my current projects. Finished the 6th block on Summer Sampler and made a start on the 7th. 

Esta semana no tuve mucho tiempo para mis labores pero aún así pude avanzar un poco mis proyectos. Terminé el 6to bloque de Summer Sampler y ya comencé el 7mo. 

Made some progress on Santa. I really enjoying working on him :)

Avancé un  poco en Santa, realmente disfruto mucho trabajar en él :)

I don't have a crochet finish to show this week, but I did start a little raccoon last night. He needs to be finished by Monday so I'll work on him this weekend. 

Esta semana no tengo un proyecto de crochet terminado, pero anoche comencé un pequeño mapache. Necesito terminarlo para el lunes así que trabajare en él este fin de semana. 

Santa's progress and a crochet finish

Here is my progress so far on Santa's Secret. I'm really enjoying working on him and if I keep up this pace I'm sure I would be able to finish it before Christmas. I'm backstitching as I go so I don't have tons of backstitch at the end.  

Este es mi progreso hasta el momento en Santa's Secret. Estoy disfrutando mucho trabajar en él, si mantengo este ritmo estoy segura podre terminarlo antes de Navidad. Estoy haciendo el pespunte a medida que avanzo así no tengo que hacerlo todo al final.

This week I also finished two amigurumi, one was a test for a pattern that will be released soon so until then I can't share pics. But here is the a little monster I can share, this was a quick project and I think he turned out adorable :P

Esta semana terminé dos amigurumi, uno de ellos no puedo mostrar porque fue un test para un patrón que aun no ha sido publicado. Pero este pequeño monstruo  si les puedo enseñar, un proyecto super rápido y creo que quedó adorable :P

Two new starts!

Last week I started two new cross stitch projects. 

The first one is a kit I had in my stash for a few years, Santa's Secret by Dimensions. I thought about changing the fabric that came with the kit but I was so eager to start it that finally used the aida; I might regret that later on but so far I'm enjoying this piece :)

La semana pasada comencé dos nuevos proyectos de punto cruz. 

El primero es un kit que tenía hace ya algunos años, Santa's Secret de Dimensions. Pense en cambiar la tela que venía en el kit por lino o lugana pero como estaba tan emocionada por iniciarlo en ese instante que al final estoy usando aida... tal vezme arrepienta de eso más adelante pero por lo pronto estoy disfrutando este proyecto :). 

My second start of last week is a Mystery SAL, the design is called Summer Sampler and it is by a Chilean designer Natalia Diaz (a.k.a With my Thread), clues will be released once a week and it will run until September 13th. Here is a pic of clue #1:

El segundo proyecto que inicie la semana pasada es un "Mystery SAL", es de la diseñador chilena Natalia Diaz (de With my Threads). Pistas del diseño se entregaran de forma semanal y el SAL terminará el 13 de setiembre. Aquí una foto de la pista #1:
