Testing

Three weeks since my last update, it's not that I had nothing to share I was just feeling lazy about posting them here :P

This week I finished two tests I offered to do for crochet designers. The first one is a newborn set I tested for UniqueEarthlings. Love the flat cap! Fernanda's doll is modeling it for the photo ;)

Tres semanas han pasado desde mi última publicación, no es que no haya tenido nada que mostrar sino que me daba pereza hacer una entrada para el blog :P

Esta semana terminé dos tests para diseñadores de patrones para crochet. El primero es un set de recien nacido diseñado por UniqueEarthlings. Me encanta la gorrita, me recuerda a la que usa mi novio todo el tiempo. Un muñeco de Fernanda me ayudó a modelarlo para la foto ;)

The second test I finished was a dino hat designed by OwlLuvCrochet. It was super easy to make and as you can see in the photo the toddler size fits my 2 year old daughter perfectly :)

El segundo test que terminé en un gorro de dinosaurio diseñado por OwlLuvCrochet. Un gorrito super fácil de hacer y el tamaño de 1-3 años le quedó perfecto a mi gordita :)

Angry Bird hat

I've been crocheting few Angry Bird amigurumi for a friend (will post photos soon when I finish all 4 that she requested), while I was at it I decided to make a hat for my 6yo nephew. For the beanie I used a pattern from UniqueEarthling and then added the details to make it look like the red cardinal.

I made my daughter model it for the photo and told her to make an Angry bird face LOL

He estado tejiendo algunos pajarracos de Angry Bird para una amiga (mostraré fotos cuando termine los 4 que me ha pedido), mientras estaba con el tema decidí hacerle un gorrito a mi sobrino de 6 años. Para el gorro use un patrón de UniqueEarthling y luego le agregue algunos detalles para que pareciera el cardinal rojo de Angry Bird.

Hice que mi gorda modelará el gorrito y le pedí que pusiera cara de Angry Bird para la foto jijiji

Didn't have time to update my blog last week so today I'll show you the 2 finishes I had since my last update. 

I offered to test this cute little robot for Herter Crochet Designs. I love the fact that the head is square and I made him a half-side smile, I think it gives him personality ;)

No tuve tiempo de actualizar mi blog la semana pasada, así que hoy les enseñaré los 2 proyectos que he terminado desde mi última publicación.

Me ofrecí a "testear" el patrón de un tierno robot para Herter Crochet Designs. Me encantó el hecho que la cabeza sea cuadrada y le hice una sonrisa de medio lado que creo le da personalidad al robot :)

On Wednesday I finished testing another pattern, this time for UniqueEarthlings. The pattern was a bunny photo prop set for a newborn. I'll give this one to my cousin who is a photographer, so she can use it for one of baby  photo sessions. 

El miércoles terminé de "testear" otro patrón, pero esta vez para UniqueEarthlings. El patrón era un set de conejito para un recién nacido. Le daré este set a mi prima que es fotógrafa para que lo use en una de sus sesiones de fotos de bebes.

FO Friday: Not impressed :/

I'm not very pleased with my finishes this week :/

The first one is a hat I made for my daughter. I don't like features of the dog/bear that I've added to it, so I'm going  remove them and just leave the ears ;) 

The good thing is that I think Fernanda looks cute with whatever she wears ♥

Esta semana no estoy contenta con los proyectos que he terminado :/

El primero es una gorra que hice para mi hija. No me gusta cómo ha quedado la cara del oso/perro, así que sólo voy a dejar las orejitas ;)

Pero igual creo que Fernandita se ve adorable con cualquier cosa que use ♥

My other finish is a Lil' Melody. I made this one for one of Fernanda's playmate, but I'm so not happy with it :(  The thing is that I think it's very difficult to reproduce a character that is so well known. So no more Melody or Hello Kitty for me :P

El otro proyecto que terminé es Melody. Lo hice para una de las amiguitas de Fernanda, pero no estoy para nada contenta con el resultado :(  Creo que es super difícil reproducir a la perfección a una muñeca que es tan conocida. Así que no más Melody ni Hello Kitty para mí :P
