WIPocalypse ~ April update

I'm enjoying my vacations on the beach right now *Ü* ... but I've scheduled this post to be published on time for the WIPocalypse update.

This month I only managed to work on my WIPocalypse projects the second half of the month, so not a lot of progress was made.

En este momento estoy disfrutando mis vacaciones en la playa *Ü* ... pero deje programado esta entrada para que se publique el día en que tenemos que mostrar nuestros avances para el WIPocalyse.

Este mes sólo pude avanzar estos proyectos en la segunda mitad del mes, por lo que no pude lograr todo el avance que yo hubiera querido.

Vacations!!

Today I'm leaving on a 10 day vacations with my mom, sister and daughter to the beach *Ü*!! We're going to a small beach town called Zorritos that it's located in the northwestern part of Peru. It's mom's hometown and I think it's been almost 7 years since I've been there. I'm taking a small project to stitch there and even convinced my sister to take one herself so we can stitch together like we used to when we lived together :) ...I'll share pic of our trip when I get back home.

Since it's the 1st of the month, I'll set my new goals for the month and review the ones I set myself for March.

I didn't do as good as I wanted with my goals but still managed to make some progress on my wips:

1. Finish my page on Chelsea's Project ~ Nope! I'm at little over 80% done with it.
2. Complete 30% of SK Blue Moon ~ Nope! This one only came up once in my rotation this month.
3. Stitch March's Dessert of the month ~ Yes! It was a cute shamrock ♣
4. Pick up again SO-380 Scent of Wind and make some progress on it ~ Nope! Not touched it one :(

Other things that I did are:
1. Stitch two new models for Barbara Ana Designs (I'll share pictures as soon as a can)


And here are my new goals for April:
1. Stitch April's Dessert of the month
2. Order the threads I need to finish page 12 of Chelsea's Gift and finish it
3. Order the threads I need to finish page 1 of SK Blue Moon and finish it
4. Finish the project I'm starting on my vacations
5. Make progress on SO-380 Scent of Wind

Hoy me estoy yendo por 10 días de vacaciones a la playa con mi mamá, hermana e hija *Ü*!! Nos vamos a una pequeña playa llamada Zorritos que esta ubicada al norte del país. Es la ciudad natal de mamá y creo que hace casi 7 años no voy por allá. Estoy llevando un pequeño proyecto para bordar mientras estoy allá y he convencido a mi hermana´para que lleve ella uno también así podemos bordar juntas como lo haciamos cuando viviamos juntas... les mostraré fotos de mi viaje cuando regrese :)

Como es el primero del mes, los dejaré con mis metas para el mes de abril; pero primero una revisión de cómo me fue en marzo.

Estas fueron mis metas:

1. Terminar mi página del proyecto de Chelsea ~ Nop! Pero ya un 80% de la página esta hecha.

2. Completar un 30% de SK Blue Moon ~ Nop! Sólo hizo su aparición una vez en mi rotación.

3. Bordar el postre del mes de marzo ~ Si! era un cake pop en forma de trébol ♣

4. Retomar SO-380 Scent of Wind y lograr progreso en éste ~ Nop! No lo cogí ni una sola vez :(

Otras cosas que hice:
1. Bordar dos nuevos diseños para Barbara Ana Designs (mostraré fotos apenas pueda) 

 

Y mis nuevas metas para abril:

1. Bordar el postre del mes de abril

2. Comprar los hilos para termina la página 12 de Chelsea's Gift y terminar ésta

3. Comprar los hilos para terminar la página 1 de SK Blue Moon y terminar ésta

4. Terminar el proyecto que empecé durante mis vacaciones

5. Avanzar SO-380 Scent of Wind

HAED progress and TUSAL

Since Monday I've been stitching on SK Blue Moon, I really enjoy working on her even with all the confetti stitches :)

I only stitched for a couple of hours each night, after putting Maria Fernanda to bed and I force myself to stop because I have to get up early to go to work :( if that wasn't the case for sure I'd continue to work on her for hours :P

Her upper body is starting to show!

El lunes retomé mi bordado en SK Blue Moon, a pesar de todo los cambios de colores me encanta trabajar en ella :)

Sólo he podido bordar un par de horas cada noche, luego de acostar a MariaFe y me obligo a terminar mi sesión porque al día siguiente tengo que levantarme temprano para ir a trabajar :( sino seguro continuaria varias horas más :P

Ya se comienza a ver la parte superior de su cuerpo!

It's TUSAL day, so here is a pic of how my little box of orts is looking :) Lots of pretty colors, this month I added bright colors :) 

Hoy es el dia de mostrar nuestras fotos para el TUSAL, así se ve mi cajita por el momento :) Se esta viendo muy colorida :)

IHSW March report

I initially had planned to stitch on "Chelsea's Gift" for the International Hermit & Stitch Weekend, but that never happened. Instead, I finish the model I was doingg for Barbara Ana; but I can't show you pictures of it yet...you just have to trust me that I did stitch and even had a happy dance ;)

This week I'm working on SK Blue Moon, I'll show pictures of my progress in a few day :)

Había planeado bordar en "Chelsea's Gift" para este fin de semana, pero ni siquiera lo toque. Lo que si hice fue terminar el modelo que estaba haciendo para Barbara Ana, pero no puedo mostrarles fotos de eso aún...así que sólo tendrán que confiar en mi palabra que borde y terminé el modelo ;)

Esta semana estoy avanzando SK Blue Moon, les mostrare fotos de mi progreso en unos dias :)

Egg Hunt ornament

Hello again :)

Barbara has just released a model I stitched for her last month, so now I can show it to you. It's a colorful easter bunny...who I think is irish (because of the hat ;) )

It had been a while since I'd made this type of finishing and it took me a little bit more of time to do it, I felt out of practise :S At the end I think it turned out pretty good, I really like the egg shape ornament!!

Hola de nuevo :)

Barbara acaba de publicar el modelo que hice para ella el mes pasado, así que ya se los puedo mostrar. Es un colorido conejo de pascua...que creo es irlandés (por el sombrero ;) )

Mientras realizaba el acabado me sentía fuera de practica, ya que hacía algún tiempo que no realizaba este estilo de adorno. Al final me gusta como quedo, y me encanta la forma de huevo del adorno!

March's Dessert

I have very little to show you this week, as I'm stitching another model for Barbara :)

At the begining of the month I received March's Dessert from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, it's a cute Shamrock Cake Pop....too cute!! I'm loving this SAL :)

This weekend is March's IHSW, I've already sign up for it :) I'm probably going to work con page 12 of Chelsea's Gift...but I might change my mind and work on something else :P

Tengo muy poquito que mostrarles esta semana, ya que estoy bordando otro modelo para Barbara :)

A comienzos de mes recibé el postre de marzo de The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery, esta vez es un cake pop en forma de trébol...super adorable!!!

Este fin de semana es el IHSW de marzo, ya me anoté a él :) Probablemente avance la página 12 de Chelsea's Gift...pero a última hora tal vez cambie de idea :P

 

WIPocalypse ~ March update

It's time again to post our progress on our WIPocalypse. Since my last update I've had one finish and made good progress on two of my wips from that list :)

Nuevamente es tiempo de mostrar mis avances para el WIPocalypse. Desde mi último reporte he terminado uno y hecho buen progreso en dos projectos de mi lista para el WIPocalypse :)
